 "Detective, I've been following the progress of your investigation, and I believe I can offer my assistance. I may not have been close to my family, but I'm still a Montague, and I want to help uncover the truth."

Blackwood regarded Nathaniel with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.

"I've returned because I want to mend the rift with my family and ensure that the secrets that have haunted us for so long are revealed. I may have knowledge about the 'Order of the Obsidian Dagger' and its connection to the artwork. I believe this information could be vital to your investigation."

Amelia Montague, her face filled with a mixture of hope and uncertainty, spoke up, "Nathaniel, if you have information that could help uncover the truth about the 'Order of the Obsidian Dagger' and the secrets within the paintings, then we should work together."

Henry Montague added, his voice tinged with relief, "It's time to put aside our differences and work toward a common goal: unraveling the mysteries that have plagued our family."

Jonathan Montague, the estranged brother, agreed. "If Nathaniel can help shed light on the family's history and the secret society, then we should consider this alliance."

Blackwood couldn't deny that an unexpected alliance with Nathaniel Montague might provide insights into the family's history and the enigmatic 'Order of the Obsidian Dagger.'
