Liam's POV

Kate, my girlfriend and I had just landed at our place. It's our anniversary week so her and me decided to go on a trip to celebrate.

The house that we rented was beautiful. It reminded me a lot of the old days when I would travel the boys.

My boys.

Well at-least they were my boys at some point in life.

I miss them.

"This house is huge!" Kate said extremely excited. She's my girlfriend of my one year. I can't believe it. She's an amazing girlfriend as well. She's always making sure I'm alright and happy. I don't know what I'd do if she wasn't by my side. She always got my back and I legit love her so much it's not even funny anymore. Not only is she absolutely beautiful but also her personality, the way she's always so positive and just makes me want to be a better version of myself is just absolutely amazing. I think I'm generally in love with her.

"And we have it all to ourselves" I said grabbing her waist to lean in for a kiss.

"Oh say we do" she says giggling.

It's been a few hours and Kate and I were laying on our bed and scrolling through Netflix. We were so tired after all the work we had been doing the last couple of months we needed a getaway especially from the fans and the media after everything that went down in 2022.

"Oh babe look they put "this is us" back on Netflix" Kate said sounding excited. She always tried her best to keep the memory of the boys alive and I loved that.

"That's great, love" I replied. I miss them so much but I don't think they feel the same way plus everyone moved on right?

Right?

"Don't overthink it, Li" Kate said snapping me out of my thoughts "I know you miss them and I'm sure they miss you just as much and probably more"

it's like she's reading my mind. I never understood how she could do that but Louis always told me I'm not as mysterious as I thought. 

That was Zayn's job.

"Thank you, love" I said "but I truly do miss them"

"I know you do baby" Kate replied "but there isn't much to do besides,  you know, text them"

"Yeah but they're very busy" I said.

She didn't say anything but just hugged me very tightly as if she knew I needed it.

Suddenly I feel myself fall to the ground and I feel like I can't breathe. I also can't even hear anything. Everything is becoming very blurry...
