Zayn's POV

I hear a light chuckle as I'm entering my living room area.

"Oh I know that chuckle, that only comes out when your being cheeky" I say to my beautiful daughter "what are you up to?"

"Oh nothing" she says hiding her iPad.

"Mhm sure" I say as I sit next to her "what are you watching?"

She doesn't answer me but except shows me her iPad.

The screen shows a picture of Liam.

"Look baba it's a picture of uncle Liam" she says smiling "you know the guy that was in the same band as you"

"Yeah I can see that babe" I say looking at it but than I realise it's an article

How did my daughter find an article about Liam?

However, that didn't matter much to me once I read  what the article said.

"One Direction star Liam Payne hospitalised after being in a "bad way""

What. The. Fuck.

Since when was Liam in a bad way?

"What's wrong baba?" I hear my angel say

"Oh nothing.. hey can you go play with your other toys love?" I say and Khai just nods and walks into the other room.

I start to panic because I don't know what to do

Should I call him?

No, he wouldn't want to hear from me.

Fuck it.

I pick my phone for the first time today and press on his contact.

A couple seconds go by...

"Hello?" A feminine voice answered.

"Hi, I'm Zayn. Is Liam there?"

"Oh.. hey Zayn! It's Kate, Liam girlfriend. Liam is asleep" she says the last bit with a lower tone.

"Hey Kate, is he okay? I've seen the articles and just wanted to check up on him."

"Uhm... yes that's right the articles are everywhere aren't they?"

"Yeah..."

"He isn't doing well if I'm being honest with you, the docters haven't told me much but all they said was that he was in a bad condition"

"Shit..."

"Mhm"

Listen I'm flying out to Italy I need to make sure he's all good"

"Are you sure? I mean you don't have to he will get better"

"Yes I know but Liam's still my brother and I have to be there for him"

"Okay well thank you Zayn"

"Of course I'll be there as fast as I can"

"Okay bye" she said before hanging up.

I feel so bad for him.

I feel so guilty that I just found out now.

I need to see him.

I can't believe I made a crazy decision and decided to tell my assistant to book flights for me and Khai as her Gigi is busy for Fashion Week and can't take her.

I guess I'm finally seeing him.

I don't know what came over me but I'm not about to repeat history.

I regret not showing up for Louis when he needed me and I'm not about to the same for Liam.

Nope. Nada.

I just hope he doesn't get mad or anything like that.

Okayy so idk if yous can tell but I'm a huge Zayn girl and in fact he is my fav (sorry not sorry) but yous have to deal with it just like how my friends and family have to as well xx
