Chapter 5

Just a filler ish chapter

But something's wrong with that clip, i just can't tell.

Something's really wrong...

But I pushed that to the back of my mind as I had a week of exams ahead. I had to study as I wanted to get qualified to compete in the next national competition representing our school. Even though I'm really good at skating, I need to have As in all subjects. It's just to show the school that you can miss a few hours of school a day and still be at the same level as everyone else.

I've been doing this competition every year since I was 14, sure I may have been in a different age group but that's not the point. Most of the schools that do these qualifications exams recommends reading the school books during the summer break. Like that you can have a general understanding of the subjects and the topics.

The hard thing about these tests is that you dont really know what's going to be on there so you have to study your whole textbook. It could be spelling the word "morning" to spelling the word "unconstitutionally" in French or something like knowing all the important days in ww1 and ww2 history to knowing the nickname of one of the elite French battalion during the same period.

But in the end skating is really important to me so I'll study 24/7 for a whole week if I had to. As well as canceling plans I had with friends to study for random tests during the year. One of our school's most important values is education and they wont hesitate to kick you out of a team if they think your grades are going down because of the training schedule. Sucks but ya can't do nothing.

As i tried to push the thoughts away, they somehow kept coming back. With a bit more curiosity every time. By the end of the week, I had analyses every single attachement 50 times. I didn't know how I was going to pass the tests but that was now at the back of my mind. The more I looked at the pictures, the more it seemed like deja vu. The more I watched the videos the more confused I became. I'm sure that it's Sunoo in the pictures but  in the videos? I dont think so.

Time flew by and I'm now sitting at a desk, anxiously waiting for the professor to pass out the papers. It was my first time taking the test without proper studying. But whatever, once I received my paper, I quickly scanned through it. "Part 1: 10 pages, multiple choice, questions seem easy enough, 1 point per question. Part 2: 5 pages, full answers, questions seems eh, about 4 point per question". It seemed easier than the one from last year so I should be fine.

About 3 hours later I walked out of the classroom feeling relieved. The exam was quite easy and I knew the answers to most of the questions. I say most because I had a very hard time answering those more personal questions.

Suddenly I hear ducks quaking... I then realized it was the alarm I set to make sure I don't arrive late to my editing class.

Once I arrive I take a seat and wait for the professor to start.

"Good evening everyone, as most of you know today is the day to turn in your assignments. Now I know that Mr Park was absent on the day it was announced so he will be accorded an extra week to complete it. We will now start with the presentation of the said project. First up is the video marketing group, Miss Wang you're up first the it's Mr Shin ..."

After a while we got to the last category: the photo editors.

"... Miss Faan please come and present your project"

Her project was a dancer in the streets. But to make the main point shine more she had to blur out the back. But the way it was done reminded me of something I just don't know what...

At the end of class I was held back by the teacher who spoke about changing my category from short advertisement to photo. I agreed since I had no idea was to do the ad on.

In the end I did a shoot on the ice and edited it a bit. I looked really nice in my opinion.

Once the class ended, I was waiting for Niki's response to my text when a message popped up.

I hung out with my friends the for the rest of the day.

Once I got home I pressed on the conversation. The picture loaded, and I clicked on the first one...

Ummm yeah, I told my friend I was going to update this one today so I did. As for the updates on the other books, I'll be working on them but I don't have to say I have a better plan for this one so yeah...
