Double Snap Disaster

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

          

             If I could snap my fingers and any wish, I would wish for Fame, Money, and Friends. Hi, My name is Renatta And Im gonna tell you how a couple of snaps changed my life FOREVER. It was a normal Saturday evening, when my parents called me down for dinner. I hopped off my pink canopy bed and walked downstairs. As i was walking down the stairs i saw a picture of my older sister, Alicia. I rolled my eyes and stomped down the stairs Thinking she has everything, fame, money, friends, while im just a stupid dork. I didn't even realize i was already sitting at the dinner table by the time i finally zoned back into reality. "So how was your day honey?" My dad said looking up from the spaghetti and meat balls he was twirling around his fork. "It was fine i guess" I said looking out of the window, wishing i could be like my sister. After that i just scarfed down my food and went upstairs to my bedroom.

           I had just sat up, and looked around, I hadn't realized I fell asleep until I checked the time. 2 am? Is my phone wrong- i -i just ate dinner... I thought to myself getting up to get my dog millie, she was probably crying outside my door waiting for me to open up. I walked over and opened my door only to see...absolutely nothing. Millie was gone? I stuck my head outside of my door and looked around, knowing my dad wouldn't have taken her into his bedroom with him and my mom, since he never wanted Millie in the first place. I walked out of my room " Millie! Here Girl!" i called only to be replied with utter silence.

           I walked down stairs and called again "Millieeee? Where Are you?" Still nothing. Oh thats right- i could snap!  I though quickly because I had taught Millie to come to me if i snapped twice. Snap snap. Still... Nothing. Until...Poof, i heard a sound. A woman with long black hair and pink skin? Appeared out of thin air. "W-Who..What are you?" I asked shyly, backing away slowly as if it (Whatever it was) was going to hurt me. "Chill out darling, i ain't gonna hurt you" The thing said crossing its arms and looking me up and down. "Im you 'jeanie in a bottle' here to grant you three wishes!" It said. "uhm... im just trying to find my dog? im not sure where you came from but, if you could help me find my dog that would be great!" I said with a hopeful look on my face.

        "Is That A Wish Sugar?" The 'jeanie' replied to me. "N-no?" I Said Looking at my feet and twiddling my thumbs. "Oh your just too cute. I guess ill help you find millie." She said to me as i processed what she had said. "Wait wait wait- how do you know my dogs name? i never told you what her name was..." i said in confusion. " oh ive been watching you for a long time." She replies as she pulls up memories of my early childhood with her magic. I looked at her in awe and watched my life literally flash by.

"Sorry to cut this moment short-" I Said interrupting her 'presentation' "- But can we please find my dog? I want- NEED to go to sleep. I mean I have school tomorrow, and I need my beauty rest!" I said with the tiniest tone of annoyance in my voice. " Yeah yeah, let's Find her." She said. We both walked around the house each looking in different places Millie liked to hide. Then I Stepped outside and called "Mill girl!" And in a split second I hear the fast padding of her feat against the wet concrete and she ran inside the house and right I to the kitchen counter. When I looked back the Jeanie was gone. I didn't even get her name... I thought. After That I dried Millie off and we both went upstairs And went to sleep.
