Chapter Three - The Wish Unveiled

              Renatta stared at the genie and took a deep breath. She had a choice to make, and the weight of it hung heavily in the air. The genie's offer was a tantalizing prospect, yet she couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that something about it was too good to be true.

In a moment of clarity, Renatta decided to test the waters. "Before I make a wish," she began cautiously, "I want to know more about you and your powers. What's the catch? What do you get out of granting wishes?"

The genie's pink skin shimmered with amusement as she leaned against the wall. "You're a sharp one, Renatta. I get my freedom when all three of your wishes are granted. Until then, I'm bound to this lamp, and I appear only to those who can summon me."
