"Those we have held
in our arms for a little while, we hold you in our hearts forever"🥀🥀

You can pray all your 5 prayers but just that alone doesn't make you a good Muslim. A lot of it comes down to your character; how you treat people, the way you speak to people. morals, principles, respecting people's feelings, and fearing Allah.
They include kindness (to people and animals), charity, forgiveness, honesty, patience, justice, respecting parents and elders, keeping promises, and controlling one's anger, love of  Allah and those Allah loves, love of his messenger Prophet Muhammad SAW. May Allah Azzawajal guide, protect us, and grant us his Afeeyah duniya wal Akhair. Ameen. ❤️

AUTHOR's POV;

She put almost all of her clothes in a suitcase ready to go, leaving the house forever. There's nothing in this world that she can't do to prove her love for Saif "I will elope with you Saif. Yes am coming to you" That's what she keeps chanting

She quietly left the room as she didn't want to grab anyone's attention. She succeeded in leaving the living room to the parking space where she halted seeing her Father handing her the key and her Mother beside him. She quickly dropped the luggage trembling

"I will not stop you, that will never happen as am not one of the parents that will keep on begging for your consent. Do what suits you Faridah" he said harshly

"Go Riri, and we will also forget the fact that we once had a daughter" the mother also assured her, trying her very best not to be weak

"Do you know when you were born the doctor told me my wife won't be able to bear children again as she has some problems? At that point, this mother of yours cried a lot" he narrated haplessly looking at his wife who was already crying

"She was disheartened because she wanted a son. Then I talked and convinced her... The love, honor, and affection that a daughter can give... A son can never give that. But I had forgotten this... The shame and humiliation a daughter can give... A son never gives that either. The reputation that we worked hard for years to build... which is dearer to me than life... If you wish to crush it afoot and leave, you may do so. For a momentary dream? You believe in that momentary dream... But you don't trust the vision of your parents! Look, I'm not one of those fathers... I won't drag you in and lock you in this mansion! But if you want to fulfill this selfish dream of yours... You will have to go over my dead body! Do one thing..take this" he held her hands giving her the car key

"Take this and leave this house immediately Faridah,  or use your own hands to kill me, and will be free forever" She quickly put down the key hugging her father crying

"Forgive me Baba" she screeched

"I don't want this freedom. I swear to the Almighty that I don't like it" she whimpered

"I can't be happy after hurting you, I just can't. I will do as you say... I mean, I will marry the man you chose" she said blankly. Baba heaved a sigh of relief wiping away his tears

"Baba, can I ask for a favor?" She asked afraid of rejection. He bid his head as a sign of yes

"Can I go and meet Saif for the last time, please? I promised him I'd come. Don't stop me please Baba. I want to fulfill this promise of mine" she pleads crying

"Let her go Alhaji. I have full faith in my daughter. She won't do anything that will bring us shame" the mother assured him

"Okay, I will honor your promise, but I will take you wherever you wanna go" he retorted
