♱ The incident ♱

October 6 Saturday || 10:50

I walked behind Amelia as we walked to the furniture store I turned my gaze to the other stores and the plants it was like a little shopping plaza. As we were walking Amelia started asking me questions,
"So how old are you?" Amelia questioned me "oh I'm 20" I replied "wow your just one year younger then me" she giggled
I laughed with her for a moment before turning my head towards her "so why is it so quiet here?" I was dying to know why it was so isolated and so creepy here "well there was an incident" she sighed "it was never like this but a week ago a family was attacked by something at their own home. A friend of theirs went to the house and knocked several times but no one answer so I guess they climbed a window and they saw that the house was a mess everything was ripped and on the floor they found the body's with two tiny holes on their necks" she spoke out of breath. My eyes widened "the police don't know what the hell did that but they are still investigating the case" she continued

"Wow that's really dark" I said with my mouth hung opened she hummed in agreement. I stared at the windows of the shops hoping to see someone but there was no one. I thought since it was a shopping center Atleast some people would come hang out but there was no one.

We finally found the furniture store and went inside I pulled my bag over my shoulder I wanted to go to other shops since there was a clothing outlet but that would have to wait for later. Amelia directed me to where the beds and sofas were while she looked somewhere else.

I walked down the dark brown floor staring at the selections of beds I liked all of them but I mostly liked the 5th one it was a very nice color. I was satisfied with it I checked the price tag and it was "400$ nice" it was somewhat cheap but I liked it. I started looking for a worker until a man with black dreads and looked like he was my age walked up to me "you like that one?" He said grinning. He had a deep voice it was very elegant like " do you work here?" Looking for a name tag.
"No I don't but I've never seen you here before" he said now getting closer to me
"Oh yes I am I just moved here" I said smiling trying to be kind. I started looking for a worker again "you smell lovely" he said low now getting closer to my neck
"Victoria!" Amelia yelled. I turned around now facing her there was a worker standing next to her, a smile in her face
"This one ma'am?" The worker asked cheerfully looking at the tag.
"Yes please" i said turning around

I didn't see the tall man he wasn't there anymore it's as if he vanished into thin air. That's strange.

12:00

I actually ended up buying more things then I needed but I wasn't complaining. What I got was a new bed,a rug,table and chairs, clothing also a wardrobe to store them in, groceries, bedsheets, and towels. The worker offered to put the furniture in a van since Amelia's car was too small. I obviously agreed and the worker followed us to my apartment. The fee was only 30$ in my opinion it was a little expensive but not so expensive but Atleast I could afford it.

We were still in the car driving to the apartment complex while the worker was following us. I layer my head back on the seat closing my eyes, listening to some music that was on the radio. "So do you maybe wanna go to a bar?" Amelia said joyfully "sure why not" I replied smiling at her "wonderful, how's 10?"She asked cheerfully while turning down the volume of the music  "yea that works for me" I said matching her energy. I was content that I found a friend in this eerie town.

We arrived to the apartment as Amelia was parking her car I looked out the window and saw that the worker was right behind us "gosh it's so hard parking this car" Amelia grunted. I started to giggled at her. She was finally able to park the car and as we got out she opened the trunk of her car and I got out the stuff. We both carried them up the stairs and started setting up as the worker was bringing the furniture up.

It's now 5pm and Amelia had gone home a couple of hours ago, we actually did a pretty good job putting the items and furniture away. My house finally looked cozy and nice I would like to paint my house but that's for another day I made myself some tea since it was pretty cold. I sat down on the sofa I had just bought it was soft that's what I really liked about it, I was switching the channels trying to find something good to watch. I pulled the fluffy blanket on top of me until I got a text from someone I check it and it was Amelia.

"Shit!" I shouted, I totally forgot about going to the bar with Amelia. I looked at the time and it was 9:40 I still had a little bit of time to get ready. I ran up the stairs to my bedroom i opened the door quickly and searched my wardrobe to wear something pretty to go out. I found a pretty cream lace tube top it had a black lace strip in the middle with a bow in the back, some flared jeans, and black heels, and a black cardigan with fur, it was a zip up. It was really cold outside so I didn't want to wear a dress or anything like that. I sat in front of my vanity putting on lipgloss with some mascara. I also straightened my hair so my layers would come out and some perfume. "Hurry up Victoria" Amelia yelled coming into the house "coming coming" I yelled back I got my purse and put everything i needed inside.

I stumbled down some stairs trying to get downstairs fast trying to get to Amelia. I locked eyes with Amelia she was wearing a black cami with a little bow in the middle with some black designs, a mini skirt , some black boot heels that had fur , and a jacket. I didn't know how she could wear a mini skirt in this freezing condition it was crazy. "You look nice" she smiles widely at me snapping me out of my thought " thank you, you do to" I smiled back "alright let's go" she shouted excitedly pushing me through the door gently.
