"Miss we're here" a muffled voice said

I woke up from my slumber slowly opening my eyes. Looking at the window adjusting my gaze back to the driver "I'm sorry what did you say?" I said while rubbing my eyes "we are at your destination ma'am" he smiled.

I thanked the driver getting out of the car and getting my things from the trunk. I looked around, the streets looked very empty. I brought my gaze back to the joyful man and grabbed my purse taking out money. I paid the man. I looked back at the car as it sped away. Strange.

I shivered at the cold air and got my bags from the ground starting to walk to the apartment I rented. I dragged my suitcase with me up to the wooden stairs before putting my keys inside and opening the door. It was completely dark no lights or anything?

I started to look around and i found a light switch I switched on the lights and it was extremely dusty. The bulb took a while to turn on but soon it lit up the whole hallway, it was really bright. I placed my suitcases inside before closing the door. I put my keys on the counter in the kitchen. My belongings won't be coming until Thursday which is a total bummer. I decided I wanted to look around so I went outside the apartment complex. Every light there was outside wasn't working, I hate the dark.

I went into my lounge there was a fireplace, I rushed to it, it was really cold here and luckily there was some wood left. I pulled off the lighter I had in my pocket I lit the wood, waiting for its heat once it lit I sat there rubbing my hands together near the fireplace. This town is isolated than I wanted it to be. Sure I wanted somewhere quite to live but this seems creepy. Almost as if they're scared of something or someone, I've always believed in monsters and things like that but this seems very different. Like something brutal and bitter happened here.

I got out of my thoughts by some thumping coming from living room window. I was hesitant opening the window but I was a very curious girl so I decided to open it. I let out a sigh once I saw it was just a tree branch hitting my window. The previous owner left some waters and food in the refrigerator. Let's go, I pulled the water out I was really thirsty from the plane and the cab. I took a sip of the water. Staring at the window I had just opened. Hoping for someone to be there.

It was pretty late 12:31 so I wasn't expecting anyone to be out but I thought At least there was gonna be one person out there.But there's none.its very weird here.

After finishing my food i grabbed my bags and headed upstairs, gripping the rail for support. I opened the door to the first room which was a bedroom turning on the light I saw a mattress with a quilt. The room wasn't bad but the paint on the wall was starting to chip it wasn't decorated either . I sighed I took off my shoes and my jacket folding it, and using it as a pillow

What I really need is furniture I'll start looking for that tomorrow morning. I'll have time for that. I shut the curtains, laying down on the mattress and pulling the quilt up over my cold body.

*fall*
"Fuck!" I yelled rubbing my eyes. I sat up on the wooden floor and let out a big yawn letting my eyesight go back to normal,I barely had any sleep last night also sleeping on a mattress with just a quilt and falling off of it. I groaned putting the quilt back on the mattress, standing up.

I went downstairs stumbling on a few steps but quickly grabbed on to the railing, I got a water from the refrigerator downing it on my dry throat. I looked out the window and this time someone was outside walking their dogs, I ran back upstairs to grab my phone I checked the time and it was now 10am which meant I could go check out furniture. I unzipped my suitcase and rummaged through it trying to find something decent and fresh clothes to wear. I found some cute flared jeans, a cute black polo shirt, a hoodie with fur on the hood, and clean underwear.

I sprinted out of the room to the hallway. I looked over and saw the bathroom I wasn't really sure if the water worked or not but I wanted to shower. I placed my clothing on the toilet seat and started hanging my towel on the towel rack and began taking off my clothes I got in the tub, turning on the water putting it all the way to the right side and the hot water started. The water splashing me I placed my hand under the water, enjoying the hot water.

It soon turned warmer still having my arm under the water. I groaned remembering I had forgotten my showering products in my suitcase. I wrapped the towel around my body and ran to my bedroom, I pulled out my essentials putting them on the floor of the shower while taking of my towel.

After showering I got changed and headed downstairs grabbing my black ugg boots and a scarf, I needed to be warm as possible since it looked like a snowstorm outside. Before I headed out I took a cute little handbag with me. I put my phone,my wallet, a compact mirror, and cigarettes inside. I walked out the door closing the door behind me. Getting a hit of cold air.

I shivered locking the door, I stood outside  taking out my phone to call a cab "you the new neighbor?" A voice said. I turned around slightly startled and was met with a lady she had beautiful blonde hair it was long with some curls, her eyes were a dark blue color, she had a thick German accent. "Yes I just moved here" I said slightly smiling, "well hello, my name is Amelia. Nice to meet you!" She said smiling, shaking my hand
"me too, my names Victoria" i said cheerfully, looking up at her blue eyes
"Where are you headed?" She asked crossing her arms.
"Oh uh to the furniture store but I have to directions nor car" I responded looking down feeling very embarrassed.
"I'll take you then, I've been living here for a while now. Plus it would be nice to have a friend" she said laughing
"Really? Your too kind" putting my phone away I followed her to her car I got in and we drove away.

OKAYYYYY EHAT DO YALL THINK? THIS IS THE FIRST CHAPTER SO YEA ALSO TELL ME IF I HAVE ANY MISSPELLED WORDSSSS SO I CAN EDIT THEM
