No Time to Waste

Sasuke...Sasuke...
I threw my arms out, stretched my hands forward and inched my fingers farther to reach his smooth pale face. Closer....
A little more and...
Ah! I fell out of bed.
"Sakura!!!"
Someone was calling my name outside; I only wondered who it was for a second but after spending months in a team with someone with that annoying voice; the voice hunts you. Even if that voice had been gone for two years. It really does.
I sighed as I snapped back to memory, this was the fourth time I had the same dream; it was the same sulking face floating in the darkness; a face that I was always reaching out (pathetically) to touch.
I guess you never really forget your first love, Inner Sakura voiced out.
I guess so, I agreed with myself.
***Oh yeah, just in case you started to think that I am crazy, one of my special abilities is my dual personality; it helps to think of it as a spoof of being bipolar, but it does come in handy.

I guess I waited to long because that is Naruto's way of showing his lack of patience.
It kinda reminds me of the good old days. I sighed, with one more flash of Sasuke's face across my eyes.
"I am coming, Naruto",I yelled out the window; only to have a rock smack me right across my right cheek.
"NARUTO! !!!" Inner Sakura was in full rage, as for me, I had a vein popping in my right skull.
"PREPARE TO DIE!!!"
And with that I chased him across the streets.
I guess some things don't change, as I softy smiled to myself and Inner Sakura nodded back in agreement.

We finally reached the training ground with Naruto crying and rubbing the side of his head where a huge bump was forming, from the punch I just gave him.
"Geez, I thought you had grown stronger, what with all the training you had with Jiraiya.", I spat.
Speaking of the Perv, I haven't seen him since Naruto arrived yesterday. That pervert us probably out seeking peeks at women in the spring. Huh, I guess a tiger cannot change its stripes.
"Ahem"
I turned to see for the first time that Kakashi was not alone in the clearing, Tsunade was there. I hurriedly bowed in courtesy; I had to pull Natuto's ear so that he gave her equal respect.
"Today, you are both going to work on developing your affinity, Naruto I will help train you on your Rasengan and Sakura..." Kakashi motioned me forward and whispered, "you will work with Tsunade".
Why was he whispering, I have always been Tsunade's pupil but I did not want to waste more of the fifth Hokage's time, so I scurried over to where she stood.
"In my office", she commanded. With a whish, she disappeared.
I watch a leaf that was moved by her powerful movement fall into my palms, I clenched my fist around it as nodded to the empty space.

****At Tsunade's office
"Ah, Sakura", Shizune said with a haste; "Lady Tsunade is ready for you". I nodded in response but as I attempted to leave, she started, "she has also requested that you prepare these documents by tomorrow", Shizune said with an uncomfortable smile.
I knew there was gonna be a catch, but with a sigh and a smile, I continued on to Tsunade.

*Knock
"Come in", a voice said sounding both lazy and frustrated.
I swallowed and walked in.
