"But its the devil that's trying to hold me down" - Halsey

+

I saw the shock in Harry's eyes when he saw the blue mustang reaching a girl that looked familiar to me at full speed.

And I just couldn't let her stand there and get killed, I needed to do something, so I dashed towards her and pushed her out of the way. I tried to run but I was way to late. I felt a pain in my hip bone and after that, everything went dark.

I was so scared at that point that I felt like I knew it was the end for me. And I knew I was gonna die. But I also felt a feeling of reasurrance, like someone was grabbing my hand. I must've been insane to even think that. But I did.

Then the reasurrance disappeared. And I was back at the shelter that I stayed in before I moved to england. I spot my grandma sitting where she always sat. She spent most of her time conversing with elderlys and gossiping about the latest thread they heard of by a nearby fabric shop that me and her always went to.

I can't help but feel like all of this Is way too familiar, and not in a good way. I felt sick to my stomache and I wanted to wake up so badly but my attempts to pinch myself fail.

My grandma turns to face me and my heart begins to beat really fast at the clear sight of her.

She motions me over and I obey. She tells me in a very faint voice "Would you please go buy me my favorite teal fabric?" She asks I nodd and take the money from her hands as she passes it to me. This was what grandma had saved from her piggy bank before we were asked to leave our house.

"I'll go with you sweetie just give me a minute." She says turning to retrieve her bag. I patiently wait outside when 3 men walked up to me all their eyes were on me. I wasn't scared because of how they looked or dressed because many people dressed like that in the shelter. But what I didnt know, was that they weren't anything like the people in the shelter.

They were the men that made my life afterwords filled with paranoia and distrust.

"Hey you want some candy" one of them ask. And they all erupt in laughter as if that man had just said the funniest thing ever.

"Your rude" I point out and the man in the middle glares at me.

"What'd you say little girl?" He spits. And at the time I had thought he didn't know what I said that he didn't hear me.

So I answered back. "I said, that your very rude" I say more clearly

I wish I could stop myself from saying that but I couldn't get any words to leave my mouth. Just the ones that got me into the problem that I have to face.

"I'll teach you how not to bad talk an adult. You'll be sorry." He says with a dirty smirk on his lips .

Both men that were besides me grabbed me and forcefully dragged me towards an alley. I tried to scream but a man harshly covered my mouth and half of my nose, making it difficult to breath.

The guys slammed me into a brick wall and my head collided with the hardness of the wall. I almost blacked out but I didn't.

I can hear the man say "I'll take it from er'e boys" and by the way he pronounced that, I could tell he was drunk.

The guys let go of my soon to be bruised wrist, but they weren't free for very long as the other guy quickly pushes me back to the wall. I attempt to scream again, but he just smashes his lips against mine. I was short so he forcefully lifted me up.
