‘Believe me, you will find more lessons in the woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach you what you cannot learn from masters.' ~ St. Bernard of Clairvaux

"Are you sure?" I ask again trying to make sure, I’m not very good with handling people's emotions. I bet the harsh expression on my face makes me look like an asshole.

"Yes Harry I’m fine now let's just go to whatever your taking me to, I just don't want to stand here anymore" She sniffs waving me off.

I don't reply, I just lead her out of the maze trying to enter into my woods, I call it my woods because I had always ran over here, whenever my parents were fighting or if I had just wanted to be alone, this place was like a second home to me.

I'm not really sure as to why I am inviting this girl into my woods, but something about her makes me want to bring her here, it's as if she understands me, without even knowing anything about me.

We finally reach the woods. I inhale the familiar smell of rain and nature. I hear a sigh behind me. I turn towards Olive and catch her smiling at her surroundings.

"I love these woods; I use to pretend I was an explorer and try to explore every inch of this place." She says a leaf in between the thumb and her pointer finger.

I was a bit surprised when she said that, because the only person I have ever seen in my woods, was the girl that I had forgotten, but that was it.

"You've been here before?" I ask her, she turns to face me; the moonlight in her hair makes her appear like an angel.

"Yeah, when I moved here, the woods was the first place I’ve ever went to." She says smilling at the ground, admiring the complexity of the forest, the leaves act as a blanket to the dirt, all sprawled on top of one another.

"Oh okay" I reply without really knowing how to respond in the first place, she walks towards a clearing, I hear the leaves crunch beneath our feet, as we arrive towards the place with a tree house in our sight.

My jaw drops at the tree house, I've always wanted one, but my father told me that tree houses were over rated, and never really built one for me.

"This right here is mine; my mom helped me build it." She says smiling at her finished work. Vines hug the tree house a bit of snow lays on the roof along with a few leaves, the tree house was entirely made of wood, and you could tell by just looking at it.

There was a ladder leading up to the house, it looks firm as if it wasn't made that long ago. It looked in pretty good condition.

"C-can we go up there?" I ask hesitantly, I wasn't sure if asking would be sort of like asking her to spill her secrets out in front of the whole world. I'm know I wouldn't allow her to enter my tree house if I owned one.

"Be my guest" she says allowing me to go first, I climb up the stairs, the ladder creaking as I take a step higher.

I open the small door and enter the tree house; it was quite spacious compared to how it looked from the outside. Olive soon joins me inside and takes a seat next to a medium table in the corner.

"Okay now what?" Asks Olive her eyes wandering around her tree house, I avert my eyes from her and look around the tree house myself. Everything in here is neat and not so childish; a picture is hung on the wall near the medium table. It was a painting of a wolf.

I see a painting of the moon behind the wolf, almost as if the wolf was attempting to bite the moon, it sat on a flat surface on a mountain, the woods nearby. In the painting there is a pair of yellow eye's glowing in the woods. Watching the wolf try to trap an important gem.
