☆°•☆ a knock on the door interrupted visenya's fluid script, her quill hovering above the parchment. she lifted her gaze to the sturdy oak door, adorned with the targaryen sigil "come" her voice called out, clear and authoritative

the door creaked open, admitting rhaenys, whose elegant stride carried her into the room. a warm smile softened her features as she approached visenya "aegon sought your presence in the war room mere moments ago" rhaenys announced, rounding the table to settle beside visenya. her slender fingers drummed a gentle rhythm on the polished wood

visenya's hum was noncommittal as she dipped her quill into the inkwell, releasing a tiny ripple in the dark liquid. her eyes remained fixed on the parchment "my time is of valuable essence" she replied, her tone measured and cool "and aegon is capable enough to conclude his final decision. he is the king, after all" a hint of subtle deference tempered her words

rhaenys gaze lingered on visenya's profile, her expression thoughtful "perhaps, but your counsel is crucial to his decision making, sister"

visenya set the quill down, her slender fingers folding the parchment paper with precision. she sealed it with a drip of molten wax, impressing the symbol of the three headed dragon upon its surface. the targaryen sigil seemed to gleam in the flickering candlelight

"your counsel could be in my stead" she stated as she slid the letter to the side before her gaze met rhaenys, their eyes locking in a silent understanding

rhaenys matched her sister's intent gaze, a hint of mischief dancing in her violet hued eyes "to which i do not stay for such talks of war bore me, i would rather fancy myself with-"

visenya cut her off, a knowing glint in her own eyes "acts of desire, luxury, and flights with meraxes. we are aware" her tone was dry, yet tinged with affection

rhaenys grin unfolded, radiant as the sun "you wound me, sister. my passions are not so easily summarized" she chuckled, the sound husky and alluring

visenya's lips curved, a subtle smile "perhaps, but your priorities are well known to us" her gaze lingered on the woman, a mix of fondness and teasing within her hues

rhaenys rolled her eyes playfully, her violet hued gaze sparkling with mischief "have you spoken to the little dove trapped in her tower?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity

visenya's subtle smile faltered, her expression turning guarded. she rose from her seat, her slender form gliding across the room to pour herself a cup of wine from a delicate glass decanter "perhaps your warmth could convince the little dove to flutter her wings from her cage" said the elder from the two returning to her previous position

rhaenys watched her every move, her eyes narrowing slightly "i assume you scared her off when you visited her chambers?" she asked, her brow arching upward

visenya turned to her, a blank look masking her features "where are those pretty manners of yours, hm?" she said, her voice laced with subtle reprimand "lurking around unwanted places is rude" she sipped her wine, her eyes never leaving rhaenys

rhaenys smirked tilting her head "i only assumed, so it is true then, you went to see her?" she asked, her voice dripping with curiosity

visenya narrowed her eyes, her gaze piercing "you are a persistent little thing" she said, a hint of amusement dancing in her voice

rhaenys grin grew, her full lips curling upward. her long legs kicked out, wrapping around visenya's waist to pull her closer. with a playful flourish, she took the wine from visenya's hand and took a deliberate sip

"do remember, she is now the wife of our dear orys" rhaenys teased, her breath whispering against visenya's ear "she is not for the taking"

visenya huffed out a chuckle, shaking her head "is your reason for disturbing my peace merely to indulge in these silly acts of yours?" she raised a brow

rhaenys giggled, her laughter alluring "ah, the mighty visenya scattering after a little innocent dove, quite amusing i must say" she continued to tease

visenya pushed rhaenys away, reclaiming her seat "go on now, aegon would surely entertain your antics" she shooed the younger off with a dismissive wave

rhaenys giggles continued to echo as she jumped off the table. with a playful flourish, she bent down, resting her hands on either side of visenya's chair, her face inches from the elder

"careful now, doves are known for their delicate feathers" rhaenys whispered, her voice husky with teasing "it would be a shame if either of them had been plucked by your rough nature" her eyes sparkled with mischief

visenya tilted her head, meeting rhaenys gaze with a deadpanned expression "are you done?" a stern brow rose

rhaenys smile grew, and she laid a chaste kiss on visenya's nose "always so serious" she mocked

visenya glared, her eyes narrowing

undeterred, rhaenys blew her a kiss before skipping out of the room, leaving visenya once more in her solitude

yet, solitude eluded visenya. her mind betrayed her, conjuring the image of the little dove—eyes of sapphire, shining like stars in the night sky, hair as black as ink, cascading down her porcelain skin, lips as pink as her flushed cheeks

daphne's gentle face haunted visenya, her thoughts tangling in the intricate web of forbidden desire

visenya's gaze drifted, lost in the depths of her own mind, as the silence of the room enveloped her
