"Shit, my mom has called me six times." I run a hand through my hair, and then take a sip from my cotton candy frappe in front of me.

"You better be on your way. I'll see you tomorrow for the concert, be at my house at say two?" She asks.

"Pretty early, don't you think?" I ask, yet again taking a sip from my delicious drink.

"Fine then, just meet me at the venue." We shared a hug.

I was in my car and off to my house.

"What took you so long to get here?" My mom asks, she did not seem angry. That shocked me due to the amount of missed calls I had.

"I was getting coffee with Anna, like I always do." I shake my empty cup.

"We have new neighbors." My mom smiled brightly.

"You called me that many times for new neighbors." I scowled at her.

"They are four boys, about your age." She grinned.

My mom was obsessed with me getting a boyfriend, I had only ever brought my friends over, and they were girls. I was popular in the boy crowd, don't get me wrong. I just didn't feel the need to bring them home or like date them. I make out with a few at parties, but that's about it.

"Go bring this over there." She handed me a platter of cupcakes.

"Do I have to?" I ask, I was exhausted, but I really just didn't want to have to go over there in my school uniform. She gave me the look, you know the one your mom gives you when she wants you to do something and not question it, otherwise.

"Fine, fine," I sighed defeated, "I'll take those over there." I grabbed the cupcakes, but set my bags down first.

I walked over to the house, going around my own garden, and driveway to get to this persons house, which I must say is quite the maze to get there. When I finally reached the door, I brought my hand up and knocked. To my surprise the door open pretty quickly with a, "Hang on, one second," coming from the other end.

When the person opened the door, my whole body froze. "Holy shit." That was all I managed to get out of my mouth, and the person just smiled.
