Cecilia woke up feeling as if she had been hit by a truck with a very dry throat.

She noticed she wasn't on the beach anymore but in Giulia's room, the sun was already setting as well.

'How long was I out?' Cecilia thought remembering her previous freak-out.

She went to the small dining room but noticed no one was around.

"Hello?" she called out but nothing.

"Where's everyone?" she said looking around a bit more until she spotted a note.

Went to get some salsa

-Massimo & Giulia

"That makes more sense," the girl thought out loud.

She suddenly heard some footsteps approaching her only to meet Alberto's eyes who were looking at her with a bit of concern.

"You, okay?" he asked her to which she only nodded.

"Need anything?"

"Just some water," she said which the boy went to give her a full glass.

"Thanks," Cecilia said before chugging it down.

"I'm sorry for...today," she suddenly added but Alberto only frowned.

"Are you afraid of the ocean?" he asked her, the question seemed bittersweet, Cecilia loved the ocean. She would swim with her father into the depths and collect seashells to make necklaces out of them after but now that was all a distant memory.

"Something like that," she answered truthfully.

"Why?" he asked making her sigh.

"I'd rather not get into that," she responded wanting to avoid the topic as much as she could.

Understanding Alberto nodded before looking at the tired girl once more, Massimo and Giulia wouldn't be back until a good hour and Luca wouldn't come until tomorrow.

'Eh, why not?' Alberto thought before shrugging his shoulders.

"Hey wanna go chill out in my room, I've got some cool stuff you may like," he suggested rubbing his neck.

Cecilia raised a brow at his sudden request, her father had warned her about being alone in a boy's room, but he didn't seem to mean any harm.

"Okay, sure," she replied trying to stand up, but her legs felt a bit wobbly making her stumble a bit.

"Here let me help," he said taking her hand, it felt rough yet strong and gentle at the same time. Giving it a firm squeeze, Cecilia stood up and allowed Alberto to lead her up to his room which was in front of Giulia's.

His room was a bit smaller but was nicely decorated with Vespa posters and a few pictures of his younger self with either Massimo, Luca, or Giulia.

'For a boy's room, it sure is clean,' Cecilia thought while picking up one of the cute stuffed animals.

"Cute," she murmured before putting it down.

"So, this is it, watcha think?" he asked with a very prideful look.

"It's cute," Cecilia unconsciously blurted out before covering her own mouth.

"I mean it's very cool," she corrected herself still noticing the small stuffed duck she had grabbed earlier.

"Hey wanna see something cooler," he said pulling out a sketchbook.

"I have all my drawings here since I was fourteen, I wasn't very good back then," he admitted shyly.
