"Hi... Can I join?" New Zealand asked from behind Germany
"Yeah, sure" Germany replied, a little startled.
They sat there in silence watching the blazing sun rise.
"What was he like?" Germany asked
"You mean Aus?" New Zealand, without waiting for a reply "well, he was funny and had such a funny accent! He would tease me for my accent! Can you believe? Well we didn't fight much only over one thing. And thats pavlova! He thought he created it but we all know I am the inventor of Pavlova! You agree right?"
Since NZ was quite confident on this fact AND he had Germany, Germany had no choice but to agree "Yeah, you totally made pavlova. Whatever that is..."
"What's your family like Germany?"
Germany sighed, he didn't like to remember his family. He had been separated from his siblings and cousins and his parents, they were a whole other story!
"Well you know what my parents where like"
"Sorry for bring that up, I forgot" NZ apologised "but you have siblings do you not?"
"Yeah, Switzerland and Austria are my half brothers and we call Poland our cousin even though he's not. Switzerland and him managed to get into UN's fortress - Russia had explained the night before Germanys entry had been denied - he has a soft spot for Poland and Switzerland is a good friend. Austria found Hungary and they left us to become 'the Outlander Bandits'. I miss them, I miss them all a lot "
Russia padded up to them from the den.
"Whatcha talking about?"
"Family" NZ said quickly, sensing Germanys sadness "do you have any"
"Yeah!" Russia said Proudly "USSR's my dad. He's the best. I'm the oldest child to. I have a lot of siblings and I mean ALOT ALOT ALOT! There's Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania and a few others I forgot the names of."
"My dads Māori, at least he adopted me. I don't remember my actual parents but they where kind and powerful, I remember that much."
after a chat about families, relationships and ancestors. NZ said Germany was good enough to travel and that NATO had a base in the North West. Directly North of the old BRICS base.
