Midnight's Backstory

*~Seven Years Old~*

"Mommy I want to hang out with my friends!" A young girl with Brunette hair whined and told her mother. "I've had enough of these imaginary friend of yours! I want you to forget about them Lily!" Her mother yelled at her. "They are not imaginary!" She yelled at her mother (who was actually her step-mother) for the first time in a while. "You brat didn't I tell you not to yell at me!" She yelled and raised her hand.'SMACK' The young girl stared at her mother wide eyes she immediately put her hand to her cheek which turned bright red with a hand mark. "I hate you! I hate you!!" She screamed at her step-mother and ran to her room locking the door behind her. "Only you guys care about me..." She said and looked up at the figures of her friends.

*~Ten Years Old~*

Once again Lily stayed locked in her room. "Why can't anyone see you guys?" She would ask her friends but they never answered her they always changed the topic. Since the incident when she was 7 her step-mother only became harsher so Lily now spent most of her time in her room. Due to all the mistreatment she began cutting since obviously her step-mother wouldn't care she only complained about bloodstains on her long sleeved shirts and on towels which only got Lily slapped.

*~Twelve Years Old~*

Things began getting better at school she made a friend called Jessica who was as nerdy as her and they even had a tree house in the woods. Lily even started sleeping there when she got bad grades and her step-mother would probably kill her... Literally. Jessica and Lily hung out everyday mostly since Jess was her only friend.

*~Present Day~*

Lily was still Twelve. She wasn't as shy as before and she also began talking back to bullies heck she even beat up the most popular girl in school for being rude to her and Jessica. One day she received a text from that same girl that read this: 'Hey Lily, I'm really sorry about being mean to you I wanna make it up to you meet me at the forest at 11:45 P.M. I will be there with the others with a surprise for you!!! ;)' Lily shrugged "Maybe they truly want to apologize... I guess I'll go don't want to be rude..." She told herself 'And if they try anything I can always beat her up' she told herself and put on a pair of dark jeans and a purple hoodie then looked at the time. "11:40...." She mumbled to herself. "Time to go.." She said and headed out.

Lily arrived exactly at 11:45. "Im here..!" She called out. "Oh goodie your here!" An annoying voice sang out happily. "Hey Lisa..." I said irritably. "Aww don't be like that! Besides you haven't seen the 'surprise' yet!" She exclaimed and suddenly her face turned dark almost evil and it was actually frightening. But to make things worse her and her two other so called 'friends' pulled out weapons. Lisa had a knife and the other two a baseball bat. "W-wait what's going on..?!" I stuttered out. 'Why am i suddenly so afraid? Is it because they could kill me? Or because they WANT to kill me?!' I thought to myself.

I stumbled backwards and fell. 'Great job Lily what a great time to be a clutz!' I mentally yelled at myself when suddenly I was snapped back to reality when a sharp pain entered my chest probably the knife Lisa had and I looked up to see Lisa's soulless brown eyes staring into my green ones that were slowly draining of color as I could no longer breath I began to cough up blood. Immediately after her two slaves started hitting me with their baseball bats which immediately caused my body to become bruised and bloody and I lost vision in my right eye.

Rustling could be heard from the forest so the girls ran off leaving me beat and bloodied. 'I'm going to die here aren't I...?' I thought once again as everything started fading and once again after such a long time I see my friends again the ones from my childhood only this time they just stare at me smiling and I hear these words. "Time of Death... Midnight..." Before the world fades into darkness.

*~A Few Hours Later~*

"Ugh... My head..." I whined. "WAIT WHAT?! HOW AM I ALIVE AFTER THAT?!" I yelled to myself. My wounds were healed but my clothes were still bloody and I had an eyepatch on my right eye. I left it on scared to see the damage. Then I remembered what happened earlier and I became so furious I could murder them! 'Or maybe why don't i murder them today...' I thought and smirked. "They wanted to kill me.. Why can't I kill them..?" I giggled and stood up heading home. I had something that would be perfect...

I made it home soon enough and went into my room through the window and went over to a glass case with two katanas with purple handles and gold designs with razor sharp blades. Why I had something like this? I loved anime very much and katanas were my favorite weapons. I got one from my mother before she left my dad and the other from my father before he passed away... I took them out the case and held them close they were beautiful for weapons. Before I leave i should pay my step mother a visit! I quietly walked into her room with my new weapons. "She looks so peaceful like this.. Let's keep it like that shall we...?" I said and slit her throat seamlessly so she would choke on her blood and die in her sleep. I stared at the crimson blood. "Blood is so pretty isn't it..." I mumbled and was about to leave the house to search for my next victim. I checked the clock before leaving. "Oh it's still Midnight..." I chuckled and left the house.

I arrived at Lisa's house and got inside real easily. "Such poor security for such a stuck up little brat!" I spat and walked towards her room. "What a bad day for her to be home alone huh..? But this gives me some time to play with her.." I giggled insanely and walked into her room. "I'm back!~" I sang out trying to mimic her voice. "Missed me?" I asked as she stared wide eyed at me in shock.

"What?! How?! Y-your dead!" She yelled at me. "I thought so too but here I am! Alive and ready for revenge..!" I said and chuckled seeing her scared expression. "Get away you freak!!!" She shouted. "Freak? FR34K?! Y0U DID 7HI5 T0 M3!" I screamed at her in rage. "G-go away! Your just a weak little girl like earlier..!" I had enough and wanted to get away from her soon to be dead body. I immediately stabbed her with my katana as it went straight through she shut up and stared down at the blade which was impaled inside her chest. The blood trickled down barely making a sound as it dripped to the ground. I pulled out my katana and she collapsed the katana had stopped her heart immediately. The blood. Her cold lifeless eyes. It made her proud... Proud of what she had done. No regrets. But it wasn't enough I started slicing the corpse up as a present for her parents when they got home...
I wrote some words on the wall and jumped out the window and ran off.

The next day Lisa's parents found her sliced up body in her room. On the wall the following words were written not even the detectives could figure it out. The police kept searching for the killer but no clues ever came up. Lisa's friends were also murdered the same way. Most of the killings had happened at night. Every single bully at the local school had been murdered as well. But they were all connected in one way. Each time someone was killed, somewhere the same words were written in blood saying. "It's Midnight... Goodnight..."
