"Crap!" I said as I ran out of my apartment and into my car. It was raining and dark.
I was meeting my best friend Louna May and her friends. I don't understand why we couldn't have lunch. I hate driving in the rain. Especially at night.
I got in my car and started to drive, pulling out of the parking garage.
I was driving down the road, only me on the street, when a cat ran out in front of me. I screeched to a halt, and got out. The cat was sitting in a ditch. I walked up to him. Thank goodness it's not dead. As I came closer, it purred and push their head into my hand, when I held it out. I picked it up, it being wet and so was I.
I headed to my car on the side of the road and put the cat in. I pulled out my phone and dialed Louna's number. After a few rings, she picked up.
"Hey Sam, you comin?"
"Yes, but I'll be a few minutes late. I found a cat, in the middle of nowhere. I'll clean it up and give it food, then I'll be there for sure."
"Okay, the girls haven't shown up yet, just be safe it's still raining." She said.
Once we hung up, I turned around and headed back to my apartment.
The cat had a plain black collar, but no sort of tag or owner information.
My complex allows pets, so when I got to my apartment, I dried the cat off and put him down with my own cat, Jasmine.
I got some more food and fresh litter in the box, put fresh water in the bowl and grabed a blanket for the cat.
I got my keys and went to the restaurant where Louna was. When I got there everybody had the sodas and was just about to order food. I rushed in and sat down, ordering. We all met and had a blast. We laughed and joked around. Until it was nine-thirty. I played with the cats while watching "Parks and Recreation" on Netflix, probably the most funniest show and also my favorite. Then I passed out on the couch with Jasmine on my chest and the other cat by my feet.
