just realized the comment was like a week ago and i haven't even planned out what to do 🔥 so here's something super duper rushed, hopefully I tagged the right person ❤‼️ NOAH IS A SIREN FYI.

_____

' being dead was boring, but it is a tad bit peaceful. '

at least, that's how Noah felt. he was bound to the lake he had died at, he hated how he couldn't contact other spirits of the island from said lake.

the brunette spends his time laying on the lakebed, an eerie silhouette could be seen underwater through close observation.

as an entity of the waters, Noah could feel the actions around him. he could feel animals drink from him, their feet on the banks. it was an odd thing to know, but it was somewhat soothing to him. Noah could always tell when someone was approaching.

_____

Noah, utterly bored of staring at the fishes swim, floated back up to the surface, wanting to see the life up there.

instead, he saw a figure. the figure stood alone, surrounded by the inky embrace of the dark forest as they hid behind a tree near Noah's home.

Noah quickly ducked his head back underneath the waters, quickly swimming to hide under the docks.

he peered above the water, the dark figure still too far away to see.

Noah then hummed a tune even he did not know, a hauntingly beautiful melody, began to drift through the air. , a symphony of enchantment woven from the depths of the lake. the voice, ethereal and alluring, beckoned to the figure hidden in the forest.

the figure, drawn by the eerie harmony, found themselves inching towards the water's edge. Noah had somehow discovered he was something of a siren, he could lure others to him just with a simple tune he hummed.

The brunette's eyes widened, he realized the figure he was luring over was none other than his semi-murder.

Duncan.

he looked completely entranced by Noah's melody, walking limply towards the dark waters.

Duncan stood at the edge of the docks, gazing across the still, dark water, searching for the source of the entrancing melody.

and there, beneath the placid surface, shimmering and surreal, a figure emerged. the waters around them began to boil as they rose.

it was Noah

his voice, dripping with both sorrow and anger, washed over duncan, ensnaring his heart in an irresistible spell.

_____

Duncan's eyes were wild and terrified, trembling as the brunette glared at him.

" N-Noah..? " a small voice called.

the water abruptly, stopped boiling as Noah turned to see another figure peering in from the trees.

it was.. Cody?

Cody seemed to be shaking, looking utterly scared and confused. even if Noah didn't exactly have a heart or soul anymore, he felt it ache from the sight.

Noah glanced back at Cody, unmoving.

" you warned him, Cody. " He hummed out in a soft voice.

In a swift motion, Noah pulled Duncan by the leg, harshly, into the waters.

just from that pull, Duncan immediately snapped back to his own senses as he panicked.

amidst the turmoil of crashing waves and the desperate struggle for breath, he fought against the relentless pull of the siren.

in a desperate attempt, Duncan began to wail out for help. extending his arm out in hopes for anyone to suddenly grab onto it and pull him out.

Noah quickly shut down that hope, extending his own arm to shove Duncan's back into the water as he covered Duncan's mouth to muffle the screams.

_____

eventually, he threw the body out of his waters, knowing Cody had seen the whole act.

" you might want to go check on him " he sang out, small and soft giggles erupting from said sentence as he smiled at a shaking Cody.

" i'll be here if you need me " he continued as he slowly submerged back into the depths of the waters.

once again, Noah laid at the bottom of the lake.
