"What was that?" He asked, looking back down to her, his soft crimson eyes full of concern.
"No idea... Maybe a potential Master?" She sighed, absentmindedly rubbing her arm, lined with thin white scars, hidden by the long sleeves of her black shirt.
"Or a slave, hoping to learn more about you maybe? That was a big fight you had yesterday." He shrugged, looking back to where the shadow figure stood earlier.
"Trying to learn like that will do them no good... After getting mad it's hard to tell what will happen..." She giggled, making a mental note to try and think of more attack combinations, and ways to combine the elements to fight.
"Well it was fun talking to you Nyx. Hope to see you again soon."
"See you..." Try and practice bringing out your instinctive reactions." She waves with a smile, before turning to walk out of the arena, refusing to give in to the temptation to look over her shoulder to check if the figure re-appeared or if she was being followed.
Kiba waved back and nodded, then looked back at the stands, as she paused at the exit of the arena, giving in to the temptation. She glanced behind her, seeing another shadow at the edge of her vision. She shook her head, deeming it her imagination. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath and turned back.
Kiba watched her curiously, before deciding to shift his gaze and head in the opposite direction to her - into the stands. His jacket flowing behind him in the air as he walked, he stopped at the wall, before crouching down. "Hmm... About 20 feet..." He murmured as he leapt up, clawing at the wall as he quickly made his way up, before just missing the lip and starting to fall. "Shit!"
Just as she was about to take a step, she heard the shout, spinning around fast, her closed eyes snapping open. She sent out a wave of air, hoping it was enough to break or at least soften Kiba's fall, but all it did was simply roll him along the ground, throwing him into the wall. Whoops... She thought to herself, teleporting to him as he groaned in pain. "I'm sorry! But why did you do that?!"
"Cause I thought I would make it that time... I usually do." He looked up at the wall, huffing in annoyance. Nyx giggled softly, patting his head.
"Silly... Using human ways would be much safer!"
"Yeah, but that's less fun..." Kiba got up, starting to walk towards the exit.
She caught up to him, grabbing his hand. "Or you could hold your horses..." She grinned, teleporting them both to the stands. He stumbled a bit as they warped, looking around curiously, muttering under his breath. "What, not a fan of moving so quickly from once place to another?" She tightened her hold on his hand, making sure he was steady on his feet, watching him curiously. "Why were you trying to come up here anyway?"
"I wanted to find out what was watching us." He climbed over that stands, stepping on backs of chairs as he made his way to where he saw the shadow. She followed him, looking from side to side, scanning the arena and the stands, trying to catch another glimpse of the shadow.
Not being able to see anything, she changed tactics, calling out. "We know you're here somewhere, just show yourself!"
Kiba ignored her calls, following the scent it left behind. He reached the spot from which it vanished, sniffing around curiously, as looked up at him, examining the place, not able to find anything of use. "Picked up on anything?"
"I don't... know... I think I may have got some-... Nope, I got nothing..." He sighed, hanging his head in disappointment.
"Maybe we will see it next fight, or even before it... Don't worry, it was probably nothing." She grinned, trying to make him feel better and to stop herself from panicking.
