The Girlfriend And The Accident Part 7

Chizuru opened her eyes, still half asleep.
Her eyes were up on the window, it was a bit dark outside.

'what is the time now?... Is it sunset or sunrise?', these thoughts were running though her head as she continued to stare at the window.
She was laying there under a blanket, motionless, feeling too lazy to move.

Then her eyes began to move downward. As her vision cleared, she noticed someone sitting in a chair just beside her bed. As the realisation struck, her heart skipped a beat, the haze she had after the nap dissappear in an instant.

As she moved her head, her hand twitched, she realised with a jolt that she was holding his hand the whole time.

She quickly lifted her hand from on top of his in a mix of surprised, flustered and shocked emotions. Her cheeks flushed a rosy shade of pink as she remembered she fell asleep in the afternoon.

Her heart calmed down as she relaxed a bit. She gazed at him with a mixed sense of relief and excitement all while hiding her face up to her ears due to blushing. Her hand moved on it's own, hesitantly and slowly over Kazuya's hand. Suddenly the door flung open.

"Wake up now you twooo, it's almost night. Or are you planing to sleep together through the night as well? ". Mini jumped in.

Kazuya woke up instantly in a state of confusion but was still in a haze.

"M-Mini-chan!, you should've knocked", Chizuru said a bit flustered as Mini almost saw her trying to hold Kazuya's hand.

"But I did knock..." Mini said with a poker face.

'huh!?, when!? '

"ooh.... Did I interrupted you two?", Mini said with a smirk.

"Were you two doing something.... naugh-"

"Wait did I fell asleep!!?", Kazuya shouted, shocked and finally awake all the way.

'you just realised that?'

"Anyway, let's have dinner" Mini said smiling.

"huh? It's already dinner time?", Kazuya checked his phone.

Chizuru tries to get up to go to the living room but Mini stops her.

"wait, Chizuru-san why are you getting up?, I'll bring your food here. You shouldn't be moving much.", Mini exclaimed.

"oh... sorry", Chizuru said returning back to her original position.

"I'll also eat here with you, wait I'm bringing our food", Mini says leaving the room.

Kazuya was also hungry so he gets up to get his food. Since they weren't going to eat together he thought he should take his food to his room.

"W-Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow", Kazuya says with a smile and begins to leave.

"wait aren't you going to have dinner?", Chizuru asked concerned.

"U-Um yeah, I-In my room", Kazuya said.

...

"You can eat with us here" Chizuru said looking at him with a cute face.

Kazuya is a bit shocked, he couldn't come up with words to answer that.

"O-Oh... Um....I..Uhh"

Just as he was struggling to speak Mini came in with all three of their food.

"Yeah you should just eat here, or else you'll be eating all alone in your room", Mini said handing him his food.

"A-Alright sure", Kazuya replied

After having dinner they went to sleep.

Chizuru was adjusting herself in her bed. Then suddenly she noticed one of her cloth was hanging out of one of her drawers.
It was just beside the bed and within her reach so she opened the drawer to tuck the cloth in.

Just as she was doing this she found a small box at the corner of the drawer. The box was old yet clean looking and somewhat shiny.

'Hm..? What's this?'

Chizuru though as she reached for it.

It was a blue box with a beautiful flower patten on it.

'A ring box??'

She opened it and just as she thought there was indeed a ring in it.

"Why is there a ring in here?, I don't think it's mine"
As chizuru was trying to make something out of this situation, something clicked.
Series of events suddenly started flashing through her mind.

...

Visiting her grandma with someone when she was still hospitalised.

Crying on someone's shoulders

A dark room with someone sleeping on the other side of the room

A memory of her surrounded by water with a hand reaching for her...

...

She snapped back.

"uuhh", she groaned as she held her head which was a bit fuzzy.
'what was all that...?'

She finally lies down and starts thinking about what she saw, until she fell asleep, without realising she was still holding the ring.
