**Chapter 1: An Imperial Council**
Nyssa stormed through the grand halls of the Imperial Palace, her heels clicking on the marble as she marched towards the vast throne room. Her fire-red hair was tied up in a bun, but tendrils escaped and framed her face, giving her a wild look.
She knew why she was summoned by her half-brother, the crown prince, and she hated him for it. But she would play his game for now, biding her time until the time was right. She entered the room annd stopped before the throne where the crown prince sat
"Come to mock me, sister?" the crown prince asked, his tone dripping with arrogance. He was a young man with a handsome face, and he wore fine silks and jewels. Unlike Nyssa, he had not had to work for anything. He was the one who deserved it least, but he had always had everything he'd ever wanted.
"No," Nyssa said, her tone cold. "I am here because I am your loyal advisor, brother. I have a suggestion for you to consider.
"A suggestion?" The crown prince frowned, raising an eyebrow. "I don't need your advice, sister. What could you possibly have to offer me that I would need?" He leaned back in his throne, a look of disdain on his face.
"Please, brother," Nyssa said, trying to remain calm despite her rising anger. "Hear me out. I have an idea that could prove beneficial to us both."
The crown prince looked at her with a skeptical look, but he gestured for her to continue.
"You know that we are in a time of peace," Nyssa said, "And we are wealthy and powerful. Our nation stands tall and there is little to threaten us. But this is exactly why I have come here to discuss something with you, brother."
"Well?" the crown prince said impatiently. "Get on with it, sister. What is your brilliant idea?"
Nyssa took a deep breath and then spoke. "Our country is strong, but our neighbors are weak. It is time to expand our borders."
The crown prince looked surprised for a moment, then shrugged. "I see no reason to start a war without reason, sister," he said. "We are already strong, and we have good relations with our neighbors. Why should we risk it?"
"Because, brother," Nyssa said, "our neighbors would make for good vassal states. And there would be no risk. We are far stronger than they are. I am proposing a swift military campaign to seize control of their lands. Once we have secured their borders with our own, we will have access to their resources and manpower.
"Hm," the crown prince said, stroking his chin in thought. "That's an interesting idea. Perhaps you are right, sister. With our superior military force, we can defeat our weak neighbors and expand our borders. Plus, we would gain access to more land, resources, and people."
The crown prince took another sip of wine and looked up at Nyssa. "Very well, sister," he finally said. "Proceed with your plan. But make sure it is swift and decisive. We don't want any resistance.
Nyssa nodded, her face a mask of cool determination.
"You have my leave," the crown prince said, "now get to work. Let me know how the campaign goes."
Nyssa bowed stiffly and left the throne room, her mind already working on how to carry out the campaign to conquer her neighboring nations.
She had only one thing in mind: taking what rightfully belonged to her.
