The final battle

I look to my right and see Groot staring straight ahead into the window of the ship, Drax is in front of me seemingly preparing himself for battle, Gamora and Quill are in the front of the ship flying us to our destination.

I couldn't help but smile slightly at our interaction from earlier.

I perk up slightly once I hear Gamora's voice, "This is a terrible plan." I chuckle at her words, knowing there is no way out of this, in fact I'm quite nervous at this thought. I look over at Quills head, which is bobbing left, right, up, and down to the movement of the ship with his determined look on his face.

"Hey, you're the one who said you wanted to die amongst your friends." He spoke reassuringly. Gamora looks over at him with a slight look of disbelieve but I could sense a bit of liking threw her eyes.

---------

We are flying over to the Dark Astor with a dozen of ravager ships getting ready to fire. Soon enough the missiles shoot at the ginormous ship blowing up the shielding. I hold onto the arm of the chair as we fly down, the intense G-forces make my want to vomit, though I hold it in.

"Rocket, hurry!" Quills voice shoots through the cockpit and through the coms to Rocket.

I watch as millions of Kree ships and pilots are exposed from the ship and fly towards us. I hear a few grunts from Rocket as him and a few ravagers are trying to get a hole into the Dark Astor so we can get in safely. I look to my left and see about 3 explosions burst from other ships, we dive and turn as much as possible trying to get away from all of these ships.

Yondu's voice through the coms though it is slightly muffled from the sounds, "aw, hell!  I'm going down Quill!" I can practically feel my heart leaping out of my chest due to how hard my heart is pounding. "No more games with me boy, I'll see you at the end of this!" we dodge some more bullets and crashes.

I look around the ship more, and through the windows, I can barely see. I start to get worried for my furry friend. just as I am going to speak, I hear Gamora shout, "There are too many of them Rocket, we'll never make it out there!" "Geez, Gamora have some faith!" I shout over at her but she just sends me a glare. I look over at everyone else to see that they are all looking above them, out of pure curiosity, I look up as well. There are loads of the Nova corps ships flying above and next to us. I sigh out of relief; we might get saved from this mess.

"Peter Quill" I hear a deep pretentious voice leads through the coms, "This is Denarian Saal of the Nova Corps. For the record, I advised against trusting you here." I see Quills face light up "They got my 'dick' message!" I let out a laugh, "Prove me wrong."

We shoot through the sky and into a hole of the massive ship. Its a very bumpy ride though it is loads of fun I must admit. Drax also seems to be enjoying this as he cries out in joy "Yes!" he continues cackling his head off whilst Quill is shooting the men inside.

Drax continues laughing, and I just pant and let out a breath "Wicked." I mutter. Groot glances over to me to my dismay he is smiling as well.

"we're just like Kevin bacon." my brows furrow at what she just said.

------------

The ship opens up to see a dark atmosphere. I feel my metal leg getting heavier by the moment. I rub my wrapped-up hands together hearing the quiet clinking of the thruster mixed with the cloth fabric on my hands. I feel them stinging slightly as the sweat is in contact with the scabs.

"It's too dark in here." I spoke in a whisper. "I can barely see." Drax finished my sentence.

I rub my eyes with my wrist to try and adjust to the darkness until I see a few sparks, or no, flowers that seem to be flowing. It is truly a beautiful sight. I watch as one lands onto the fringe of my curly hair, I pick it out and place it in the palm of my hand.
