8. a. First Scan

Jeongin 💖

Jeongin and I are going to the maternity clinic for my first scan this morning. We are excited and a little apprehensive about going for my first scan. As we are first time parents and we are young too and some people can be funny when you have a baby at a young age. Me and Jeongin are very happy together and it feels right for us. Very right even though we know it'll be hard raising a child at a young age but we are going to be prepared for it when the time comes. Jeongin and I are on the way to the clinic  for our scan. He's told the boys he won't be in for rehearsals later because of something but he hasn't told them what. They will find out later on when we tell them. Anyway we have just arrived at the maternity clinic now. I have just checked in and we are sitting waiting to be called in for my appointment. Jeongin and I sit nervously and excitedly in the waiting area to be called in. "Hopefully not long now, babe till we see our baby" Jeongin said. "Yeah I hope so" I smile. A couple of minutes later, I got called into the room by the nurse. She told me to lay down on the bed and roll up my top. "Y/ N, I'm going to put this jelly on your stomach so I can have a look at your baby. Is that okay?" she asks. "Yes yes" I reply. "Relax, you look nervous. Nothing to be nervous about" the lady said. "Okay" I say taking a deep breath. Jeongin smiled at me and took my hand and calmed me down and comforted me for a few minutes then I was okay. "Everything looks great and healthy with your baby. They have a strong heartbeat I'm pleased to tell you" the nurse said. "Thank you. Well that's brilliant to know" I reply. Jeongin smiles too. We leave the clinic feeling happy after my first scan went well

Hyunjin ❤️

I have my first scan this evening after work and Hyunjin is joining me of course. He wouldn't miss my first scan, well our first scan for anything in the world. He cannot wait to be a father. Hyunjin had to come up with a little excuse to get himself out of leaving the studio a bit earlier than usually. He said I needed him for something or something along the lines of that. Hyunjin is always there for me no matter what. I have a good man like him to love and have a baby with. Anyway I finish work and get changed in the bathroom as I didn't want to go in my work things for my first scan. I arrived at the hospital. Hyunjin said find a seat and wait for him as he didn't want me standing outside in the rain getting wet. So I am sitting inside waiting now for Hyunjin to arrive for my appointment. He texts me and says he's running a little late but he should be here by the time my appointment is. Fingers crossed Hyunjin will be here soon. Waited to be called in the room for my appointment and I also waited for Hyunjin too but lucky he arrived just in time. "Hey, babe. I'm here. Sorry I'm a bit late. Always am. Haha" he laughs. "It's alright, baby. At least you're here now" I reply. "I am, baby" looking forward to our scan" he said kissing my hand and leaning in. Just then I was called in for my scan. I was shown into the room by the lady and greeted. She introduced herself and explained about everything that was going to go on. Hyunjin held my hand and I relaxed. "Ohhhh that's our baby" he says. "I know. So cute" I reply. "Can't wait to meet him or her" he smiles. So my first scan went well and Hyunjin and I got to see our baby for the first time

His POV

Earlier Y/ N and I had her first baby scan, well our first scan as we are pregnant and having our first baby together. The first scan went really well and we both were really excited to go and have it. Think I was just as excited as Y/ N was. We both had equal excitement. We got special pictures of our baby during the first scan that we are going to keep forever and ever. We have just made dinner together for tonight as we both had the afternoon off work which was good as we could spend it together without rushing off after our scan. It was nice to cook together and eat dinner at home together tonight for once. Y/ N and I have cleaned and tidied up the kitchen and now we are sat on the couch relaxing and spending sometime together. We have put our baby scan picture on the mantelpiece by the fireplace so we can see it while we are sitting down watching TV or whatever we are doing. "Our baby looks so beautiful, jagiya" I say softly touching Y/ N's leg. "He or she does, baby because we made them and you're handsome" she replies smiling at me. "Honey, you are so beautiful too. I think we are going to have a baby girl. I guess we will find out soon enough" I say. "Yeah you know what me too. I think it's a girl too" she replies. "I've always wanted a little girl you know" I say. "Awe well I think you would be an amazing girl daddy if the little one is a girl" Y/ N said. I smiled at kissed her. We couldn't take our eyes off our baby scan photo that we had today

Felix 💙

Felix and I have my first scan appointment this morning at the hospital. I am excited but nervous as I don't know how it works as I've never had one before. Felix said he's nervous too as an expectant father. We are both just as nervous as each other for my first scan. We also want to know that we are having a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat. Felix and I have just arrived at the hospital for my scan. We have 15 minutes to go before my appointment so we arrived early enough. I feel tense and like I can't relax. Being in a hospital does make me nervous and sick from past experiences that have happened to me. Felix looks at me and says "Relax, babe. Nothings gonna happen. They are just going to see how the baby is doing". "Yeah I know but you know I don't like hospitals, Lix" I reply. "Nothing to be scared or nervous of, sweetie. You got me. I'm by your side forever" he smiles. I smile back. I get called in five minutes early for my appointment. Felix and I go in holding hands. "Lie down for me comfortably please, Y/ N" the lady says. I smiled at her. "So have you been keeping healthy so far in your pregnancy?" she asks. "Yes I have been and try to anyway" I reply. I roll up my top and she puts on the gel stuff. It was cold when it went on. "Ohhhhh nice strong heartbeat there" she said. Felix smiled at me and I smiled back. The lady examined the screen and we did too. "Tiny toes and fingers already" Felix said. "Ohhhh I know. They are so cute and tiny" I smile. "You seem very excited, Felix" the lady says. "Yes I am actually. This is a new experience for us both" he replies. "He wasn't excited when I first told him I was pregnant. I thought he was going to leave me. He didn't take it well" I say. "Y/ N" Felix said looking at me. "Well he loves you I can tell" she said. "It's true" he smiles. So my first scan went well and our baby is healthy with a nice strong heartbeat
