hello hello! i'm kin (pronouns they/them), and this fic - which i call jtta for short - is being cross-posted from ao3 ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/29616090 )
there's also a tumblr blog, where i post art and yell about aus and such through the ask box - username journey-to-the-attic, and it's also linked in my profile!
i am an old old person so i'm not entirely sure how things work over here on wattpad - i'll just be copy-pasting the chapters as they are from ao3, probably doing some editing in the process
the only difference will be that i won't port over the author's notes, since i don't really want to break up the flow of the story - but if there are any really pertinent points, i'll just put them in a comment or something ^^
i do want to try using this add-media thing wattpad lets you do... so i'll probably just add some art from the tumblr, or maybe some music that i think would match the mood (probably mostly stuff from the undertale/deltarune ost) - we'll see! it's a whole new platform!! who knows what will happen!!!!
anyway, three things:
1. this is ik, the main character! her name is a little odd, and that's because it was originally a placeholder that i ended up getting attached to. at this point in time, it stands for 'inexplicable kid' - or, if you like, 'is a kid'

2. THE MEPHISTO THAT PRIMARILY APPEARS IN THIS FIC IS NOT THE SAME AS THE CANONICAL MEPHISTOPHELES!!! this mephisto is an oc that i made before s4 of obey me released, and this is what he looks like:

3. a lot of the worldbuilding and backstory (for barbatos and diavolo in particular) is not canon compliant! part of this is because a lot of the story was written while the worldbuilding in-game was still very surface-level, barbatos's backstory hadn't been revealed yet, etc - this fic's been going on since before s4 or nightbringer ^^
i'm planning on doing some editing as i paste the chapters over, so there's going to be some delay between updates here and the up-to-date chapters of the fic on ao3 - mainly it's the earlier chapters that need tweaking, so hopefully the process will speed up over time!
also: when i say the chapters are long, i mean long - they're all over 10k words, i think two of them actually hit 20k......
