Tupac stood at the phone as he spoke to Ivory. He was getting his first prison interview after four months of being incarcerated and had the chance to speak to Ivory before it started. She was currently in LA doing rehearsals for the Death Row medley since she opened the show with Dre."How's LA ?" He asked her as she chuckled.
"Same as always , You already know I went to see Grace." Ivory said softly. "You know what they'll ask you ?"
"Mostly about my time in prison , career and probably you." He said with a smile. "I can't wait to talk about you." He spoke making her blush.
"Well I can't wait to finally watch. Remember don't go crazy or nothing." She spoke making him chuckle.
"I can't promise that baby. I have to keep it as real and raw as possible."
"What song will they have you rap ?"
"I choose 'Can U Get Away ?' , It'll be just me with the headphones on and shit you know." He spoke with a smile.
"Why'd you pick that one ?"
"It's like my tribute to you." He spoke softly. "I wouldn't have a peace of mind if it wasn't for you." Pac spoke as a guard came over.
"Don't make me cry." Ivory said as she heard a guard speak. "You have to go ?"
"Yeah." Pac spoke softly. "I'll call tomorrow, I love you."
"I love you more baby." Ivory said as Pac hung up the phone.
Soon Pac was lead to a private room where a camera was set up and an interviewer sat with a notebook.
"Tupac , Great to meet you. I am Thomas." He spoke as the two shook hands as Pac smiled sitting in the chair. "Now this will have nothing to do with your trial or reason of incarceration. It'll mostly be me asking about your life story and career."
Tupac nodded as he fixed the picture of Yummy a 12 year old child who was slain after living a short life of being involved in gang violence and was murdered. He always advocated for Yummy , Latasha Harlins and various black youth.
