Percy wants to bang her head against something hard and solid. Hard that it would bleed and would give her a fatigue that is bad and can't be healed. Hard that it would make her faint and never to wake up again. Call her weird or whatever but she dares you to be on her shoes, she was kidnapped again and to what? Read her short and miserable life!
She wants to hide and curl to a ball and just away from the eyes that stared at her now. She wants to be shielded at the venomous glare sent to her by her father. Luckily, kind Hades was trying to stop his deranged brother from attacking her. But old Zeus' choking laugher was ticking her off. Along with that barf-color haired dude, which she was quite surprised to find out that he was the god of mischief in Norse mythology.
First, Greek mythology then it lead to Roman and now? Norse?! What else is there she need to learn of? Wait-- Beelzebub exist does that means the entire bible exist, too? Her dyslexia and ADHD is kicking out now. She readily gripped Riptide in the pocket bottom up shirt just beneath of her corset, just in case.
"So, she isn't really Poseidon's daughter?" Hades carefully asked Mnemosyne, he felt himself tense and grew distant by the revelation that his niece was lying to them since the beginning.
The goddess fearfully nodded when she saw his expression.
Hades nodded and hummed to himself, eyes glancing to the tense and on guard Percilla. She lied about her whole being. Yes, it was true she is a child of Poseidon but not his brother Poseidon. The Poseidon's she came from. The different world she came from that has many of her kind. An enigma. Ichor and mortal mixed together. No wonder her soul is one of a kind.
"Let go of me, Hades, I'll teach the little mortal a lesson that she should not have lie to a god!" Poseidon glowered and growled, his eyes seems to be glowing which made Percy more anxious.
"Afraid you cannot do that, Poseidon." Beelzebub softly said to the glowering Greek god. He tenderly look at the note in his hand, and reread back again to clarify more things up. He was drag along here with the rest, but unlike them, he seems to be more curious and excited of the proximity of learning about the enigma child.
"It saids here to never harm the child or we will never be sent back to our domains."
"But why do we need to read about her life?" Loki pouted childishly and cross his hands over his chest, he made a face to the said girl, "The little liar should be given a punishment instead."
Percy's left eye twitches, says the god of mischief and lies himself, she thought miserably. Internally cursing whoever it is that brought them here. Or for better, whoever kidnapped her to this alternate world. She missed camp. Misses her mom and her friends, especially Anthonius.
"Why do we need to listen to them? Let's just go with our lives!" Zeus chirped annoyingly. He doesn't seems to care about the possible reality that there's another world out there, where there's an alternate of themselves.
"Don't be ridiculous, Zeus," Beelzebub nagged and he glance back at the girl of their demise. "Why don't we just read it? That way we will learn about her more and how our questions about her heritage came to be."
"It will all be answered, yes." Hades nodded as if agreeing with the devil. "Behave yourselves." He said to his little brothers, whom the youngest nodded at and blond to sneer.
"I refused to." Poseidon growled, and sent another glare at Percy. How dare her lie to him? The little half mortal should be dead by now just because of her lies only. What is there to understand about her? What's the reason to? Just so their questions will be answered? He's not thrilled about it.
"Think of it this way, Poseidon, if we will read this books your rumours of having a child with a mortal will be erase." Beelzebub pacified.
"There are rumours about me?!" Poseidon doesn't seems to be satisfy because he looks more deadly and ready to kill.
"Oh, oh!" Loki jumped up and down like an excited kid. "Yeah, I heard of it!" Truth, he doesn't, but if it's a way for the sea god to say yes then why not? He, himself is curious about the liar and wants to know more about her and her water power. "Thor would want to read as well, right Thor?!"
The redhead nodded silently, his eyes never leaving the half mortal girl. He inspect her from head to toe, trying to find the warrior in her. He would be in for a surprise if they'll read the books. His father, Odin, juts remain silent as he is. Only occasionally rolling his eyes whenever someone would disagree with another.
"Poseidon, we read. Now." Hades demanded.
Poseidon didn't have the time to refuse again as the all father, Odin, took one of the books in his hands. Carefully reading the front page and opening the first.
"Sit down. I'll read."
Poseidon was forced to sit beside his two brothers. He glares at Percy from across him and he swore he'd punish her later after everything. How dare of her? Again and again, that's the only thing he could think of. His anger and hatred of mortal tenfolds because of the girl.
Said girl sat beside Mnemosyne, away from the other gods. She is so not ready to this. Her life, her thoughts, her dreams, ever! Of gods, maybe even one of her embarrassing moments. She could only hope atleast some of them are private.
If she could refuse all of this, she would have. But she doesn't have a choice. Mnemosyne said so herself it's one way to help her and her situation. Maybe even, this is the way for her to get back at her world. To her family and friends. God, she miss her mom's blue cookies. Misses the adrenaline of wielding riptide proudly in her hands and just have a blast sword fighting with her cousin, Jason. And then have a tutor session with Anthonius.
But before she could wonder more, Odin started to read.
"Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the lightning thief."
