"Girl, your brother is like, really hot."

"Gross! Do you fucking need glasses or something? My brother is not hot."

This same scenario happens every time I'm with my friends and they see my older brother, Giro. I don't know what they see in him, he is such a snob and a bully. Why would girls fall for him?

"Of course, you'd say that about him. Do you think you can give his number to me?"

"Rosie, no. I am not gonna give you my brother's number!"

Every time they ask for his number from me, I don't give it. Especially not without Giro's permission. If they want it, they're going to need to ask it from him, not me.

Giro walks toward us, along with his three other friends, Adam, Keenan, and Parker.

"Hey, princess. The boys and I are going to someplace to eat, wanna join?"

My friends beside me all sigh and swoon in unison. I just rolled my eyes at them and walked towards my brother. "As long as you're paying."

His friends laugh, but Parker says, "I'll pay for you, Kayla."

My brother side-eyes him. I just pinched his side to stop him from threatening his friend.

"Guess I'll be going. Bye, girls!"

"Bye, Kayla!" they all say in unison.

At the food court, we find ourselves roaming around the entire place, finding various foods to eat.

Suddenly, Parker takes my hand and drags me toward Fly Away.

"I know how much you love your chicken."

I was beaming with joy, "No kidding! Are you sure you don't mind paying for me?"

He head pats me and says, "Yes, it's okay. Now help yourself out to whatever you want."

"Thank you, Parker!" I jumped up to hug him. It's always been a normal bond between us.

"Ehem," my brother coughs from behind us. "Have you found something to eat, princess?"

"Yes, I have," I say to him. I turn back towards the person managing the place, "I'll have three pieces of buttered chicken with plain rice please."

"Make that six buttered chickens and yellow rice," I stare at Parker because I thought he was going to order something else. He just smiles at me and pays for the chicken.

We go back to our table where the rest of the group is and wait for our buzzers to go off.

"Kayla, who was that girl you were talking to earlier?" Giro asks suddenly.

"You mean Rosie? She's just another girl who wants your number and I told them they have to get it from you because I'm not allowed to give out your number."

Giro messes my hair as he says, "Good girl, Kayla."

I pushed his hand off me. "I'm not a fucking dog, you dumbass."
