Chapter 1: la llorona

It all happened years ago in Mexico when a beautiful young lady named maria. She once was in love with a handsome nobel man and soon had gotten married. months had passed, they ended up having two twin boys and became a family. Years has passed, the husband went away on his traveling trip: the more he traveled, the less he sees his wife. Maria feels depressed because of how her husband is losing interest in her but didn't lose interest to his kids. One day, maria saw her husband again, but this time with another woman on a carriage, he made a stop to see his two twin boys but while he was seeing his two twin boys, she noticed that he was ignoring her: he never said a word to her, nada! She also learned that he was married to a new lady that was sitting on the carriage. Blinded with rage, she took her two twin boys to the nearby river and drowned them both, after being insane, she realized what she has done: after realizing that there was no way out, she drowned herself in the river and died. Years later after her death, people have reported hearing her cries and screams. Some people say that she only yells out "ay! mis hijos!" while others only her her just crying. (On the side note, some people can hear both). There was a warning saying that if you see her, its best to hide with your children, because legend says that she would confuse other children of her own and will also drown them in the river where things took place. Another warning is that if her cries sounded close, she is far away: and if her cries sounded far away, she is near. Make sure to say your prayers, stay inside and lock all your doors, and stay close to your children, because you may never know where she would be.
