"po popo po po"
what was that sound?,
could that be the sound of my heart?,
little do I know, I think my mind is playing tricks on me:

Should I be calm or should I be scared,
cause' the sound is getting near:
I'm starting to see a silhouette coming from a far,
now that the color of pitch black is now showing color,
I am starting to see a tall slim figure of a woman with an unsettling face:

Little do I know, I thought my time was almost up
the more fear I have, my heart is about to stop:
she didn't abducted me just yet,
but I still have time to run to my grandparents:

I was shaking in fear,
my grandparents haven't notice:
but when I mentioned of what she looked like,
their faces has turned pale:

grandfather grabbed me by the arm,
with a serious look,
when I told him what I saw,
he quickly left to look for help:

I was crying with fear,
I started to ask questions,
when grandmother gave me the answer,
more tears are falling from my eyes:

A person has arrived,
she gave us some instrtuctions
she said once night time hits,
I have to stay in til' morning:
four bowls of salt is on each corner,
with an image of buddha,
just incase if I get scared,

now that it's nighttime,
my heart is thumping,
waiting for this day to finally be over,
I will later see the light again:

"po po popo po"
I heard the sound again,
when four bowls of salt has turned black,
I already knew that she is near by:

trembling in fear, I wanted to scream and cry,
I stood in front of buddha,
praying that hell will finally vanish:
*tik... tok... tik... tok...*,
morning has finally arrived,
when a little sunlight was glowing in my face,
I know that I am no longer in danger:

I quickly opened the doors,
and ran to my grandparents,
hugging them with relief,
happy that hachishakusama is no longer around:
even though it is not over yet,
my grandparents have given me this last rule,
and this rule is not good,
hearing that I will not return to japan,
this is even more depressing:

years has passed,
I am now an adult,
this story is a warning,
telling you to never encounter the 8 ft. tall woman.
