I miss you, you are so far away

I thought you would be here, 

At least another day

Nobody to talk to, or hear my words

Not like you did, I am alone in the world

I often wonder, what my life would be like

if you had not left us, not turned out the light

I understand though, it is not your fault

it is only the work of God

We all die in the end, it cannot be stopped

this world is strange, and confusing 

why are we here? what are we doing?

Global Warming, children being abducted,

but we say to ourselves, there's nothing we can do,

because its not being instructed

if it were different, happening right in front of our eyes

We would try do something right?

Unfortunately it is not so, people are beaten

hurt infront of our very eyes

​Justice is hard, and so is bravery 

we are all bystanders of pain and suffering

wherever in the world it may be

it takes a while to begin discovering

all the options we have

Am I to be an Actor, Writer or Teacher?

I do not know, it's hard to pick the future

Why is that our fate?

To choose at only eighteen,

what will provide us with money, 

clothes,

food and a home 

Surely thats to hard, to decide on our own

You can see why I miss you

You told me stories of princess's 

and made me smile

even if it were only for a while

You cheered me up, when I was sad

You loved me and I loved you

It is not unheard of, it's what humans do

if you were here I know what you would say

"Time means little, its what you do with it at the end of the day"

So I will try, my best to live,

love, 

and never forget

The world is broken, people stop smiling
