"You're worthless. You don't deserve to be loved."  The voice said. Echoing throughout the room. "You. are. nothing." The voice whispers word by word softly but ruffs, causing me to shiver. I cover my ears with my hands. I mumbled for it to go away, but it never did. They just got louder and louder. I shut my eyes hoping that would help. I felt too weak to get up or even move a single muscle.

I lay my head between my knees, hugging my legs trying to feel comfort. I raise my head as I feel a presence beside me. "Der," I whispered. "Hi, sweetheart." He said in a calming voice. I felt the coldness slightly disappear. "Lia. I need you to fight okay." I try to avoid eye contact. Derek gently grabs my chin forcing me to look at him. "Look at me, honey. You are stronger than you think." He says. "What if they hurt me again," I whisper looking at him with tears streaming down my face. "You like a daughter to me lia," Derek says. "You are my daughter. I won't let anything or anyone hurt you." He said softly.

Before I could say anything Derek disappeared, Bringing the closeness back. The words repeated in my head. You are my daughter. I need you to fight. As I thought of the words Derek said I felt myself getting stronger and warmer. I guess I just needed a father who cared for me.

As soon as I woke up I was in Derek's arms. Hayley and hope we're next to us. The Mikaelson were around us. Vincent was next to Freya chanting in latían. A blue glowing ball floating in the air. There the Mikaelson vamp-seed away leaving Klaus and Henrik behind. "I know I don't you and that I never had to chance to be in your life. But I hope you can accept me to start now." The youngest Mikaelson said before the vamp sped away. The hybrid follows not far behind him leaving a little girl crying out for her father.

I got up and ran towards my mother and my older brother. Hugging them as if the world was ending. I was afraid that if I let go I'd lose them. After a little while, I let go. "I'm sorry." I cry out. My mother puts her hand on my cheek. I lean on her hand. "It's okay Lia." She said hugging me once more. After she let go I hugged Derek. "I love you der," I whispered in his ear. "I love you more Lia." He chuckled.

I walked up to Hope and opened my arms. She wasted no time to hug me. "It's gonna be alright," I whispered.

Three weeks later

I wait for Hope and Hayley to finish packing. "Are you sure you want to go?" Mellisa asks me. " I'm sure. I'm gonna need some help and besides Hope gonna need someone to look out for her." I say. "I'll see you soon Mom don't worry," I said. "I'm a mom. It's my job to worry." Mellisa whipped her tears from her cheek. Hope and Hayley walk up to me and Melissa. "You ready." The woman asked. I respond with a nod. "Don't worry I'll take care of her like she's my own." The woman told my mother as she hugged her. Mellisa smiled at the woman. "I know you are." Mellisa reply.

I grab Hope's suitcase and mine and put it in the trunk. I grab the letter from Henrik and put it in my backpack. I looked at Hope who was staring out the window.
