The first full work week was actually very easy going since it took longer for most to arrive they got a lot done. Everyday they would switch up being partners in threes and managing the workers around them in certain areas as to get done faster. Even the Lion group was working hard and fast the same way knowing more people would be coming and wanted certain things done before the majority got there. "Alright you guys we have more people coming on Monday you worked hard. So have a good weekend." She said as Jordan was wiping the sweat off his forehead looking at her funny with a smile.
"Boss it's only one." Dallas told her. "I know Dal. Now you all pick up and get before I change my mind. All the workers and the guys in the work site looked around and started scrambling. Vincent walked up to her. "What's going on babe. You alright." Wiping sweat from his forehead. "Well I'm feeling little homesick aren't you?" She said smiling to him. "You wanna go home?" He smiled to her. "Nana's already waiting. Figured a good weekend back there before a new hell breaks loose is what we need." She said hugging him tightly. His arms wrapped around her back smiling deeply.
"We could do this every Friday you know. There is no rule that says we have to be here on weekends." "You wouldn't be trying to avoid all your friends now would you?" He said looking at her with a side eye. "Not exactly. Well not entirely anyway. It's just we're like maybe almost up to an hour away most likely less. Isn't it wonderful to be so close to home now? Damien goes home every other weekend. Most the crew leaves every other weekend to sight see. Why not? I know how bad you miss each other when your away for too long. Ethan has spending so much time with Chloe and your friends and I know they miss you. Besides I already told Bella we would have dinner with all of them tomorrow anyway." Smiling to her he leaned down and quickly pecked her lips.
"I'll hurry up than. Make sure you pack what you need." He said as he ran off and went to Elias and Killian helping put pipes away. "You spoil all of them you know. I for one appreciate it." Jordan told her. "I know you do. Cicci's already in the office." "Thank you for keeping her there. I know she wasn't really apart of this. I really don't want her to be." "I know we will all do our best to keep her the way we always have. I promise. I love Cici you know that. We all do." She said smiling to him as he nodded. "How you been?" "Therapy is good. Takes a lot of energy most days." Jordan said as he took a long exhale.
"It's getting a little rough in it lately though. The Dr. is starting to tread on some sensitive grounds for me and I don't know if I'm ready for it. I mean its been six months since you made me start this crap. You know it is helping a big bit. I just don't think I am or ever will be ready to go through certain parts. We both know I don't handle certain things very well." He said kicking the ground looking at it. "I know it's going to be hard. It was for me to for awhile. Just hang in there a bit more and remember we are always right here for you. No matter what." "Yeah I know. I. I am sorry though you know that right?" "When you tell me a shit ton of times when you were plowed yeah I know." She laughed to him.
"I never judged you too much for the actions of others you know that right? I only hold you accountable for shit you've done. I never blamed you though. You know that right? Sometimes shit beyond our reach and control is not our fault no matter how guilty you feel. Just own up to what you did and were good. I've forgiven you a long time ago." She told him as she kissed his cheek and walked off. Jordan blushed and walked off to his woman waiting for him.
"You amaze me you know that? You have every right to hate him. To hate them. To hate all of us really. Yet you still are the first one to show up when we call." Colton spoke up leaning against a wall hands in his pockets dressed in dark washed jeans a plain grey shirts and black jacket. Looking at him with a slight smirk. "I never asked you how you are able to do that. Yet I've always been curious. I always tried to wondered from time to time when I actually thought things through. What it would be like to spend a day in your shoes. Could I be as strong and good as her. Would I be as hateful as normal people would. Would I give into darkness and do what other weaker beings have done in the past. Would I use it to be a bitter bastard and blame the world for the rest of my life. I never could come up to an honest answer. I have no idea what direction my life would have taken if I had ever been put in your place. How do you do it?" He asked being so lost.
