Chapter 12: The Long Night & The Fist Step.

The week was dragging on so slow for awhile her crew thought time was going backwards yet at the same time it was flying forward. The men didn't mind working with Landen and Colton as they knew for the most part what they were doing. It was everyday praying Sienna was going to be an office lady. However it would bring Cici to want to be in tears. The poor girl was good at making deals. Talking out contracts and the legal things. Sienna was great every piece of paper work that mattered in the world where they had secretaries and hands on help. She could rule with an iron fist. It kept her on her toes.

When it came down to making sure the materials they need were on track and accounted for. Checking in guests and equipment they received and checking and testing it she was out of her league. Mistakes daily. If it weren't for everyone else production would be behind weeks already and they couldn't afford that. They were trying their best to train her. Their patience would only take them so far they were dragging their men into it to train her and they would come back with their hands in the hair to scream in their pillows. Dallas at one point tried to talk about what happened but only tears came out. He was so frustrated and knew he couldn't hit a woman but was convinced that Sienna was not a basic human.

Landen did everything in his power to help her understand what certain equipment was used for and how to test it when it came in. Now he was just rocking back and forth on the couch with Cici stroking his hair as they listened to Ana trying to talk to her. "Ok. Good yeah click on that one. Now we only need two of them and do you remember why we only need so many of these and more of these? We went over twenty times. Today alone. You remember?" Ana asked her getting ready to lose her mind. "Um. Yeah of course. We need it like this because of the spacing issue? No wait the man power?" Ana was breathing deeply. "The city zoning permit?" She asked in a scared guess.

"Si I love you so much which is why were all going to miss you when you're gone. Because I. Am. Going. To. Kill. You." Taking a deep breathe. "HOW ARE YOU RUNNING SOLOMON COMPANY!!!!!! THESE ARE BASIC KNOWLEDGABLE THING SYOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW BEFORE YOU GOT HERE?!" Avianna asked her slamming her hand down on the table with each word. Sienna and the rest of them got scared by the sudden noise Landen was quick to Avianna's side giving her a side hug leaning down on his knees. "Vee calm down. Look at me. Look at me Vee. Breathe with me. In a short while out longer while. Right just like you taught me." Landen told her making her look into his eyes until she was good.

No matter how jealous this always made Sienna she was thankful for it because she would always be balls out terrified when Avianna got worked up. She was so small yet so powerful. "Thank you Land." She said with a small smile tapping his hands on her cheek. "I'm sorry Sienna. Alright look for the millionth time and even in your notes and the damn post it note on your monitor for the computer. The power access out her is limited. We can only be running so much for so long. This is our own electricity and it costs lots of money for us to be using and we also need to be conserving wisely because that is what we also promised to do." Ana said in a calmer voice.

"I'm sorry Vee." "No, no. I'm sorry. I shouldn't lose my temper with you. I know how smart you are and I know that your company doesn't really handle anything like this. However I want you to be aware when you make deals like this one and you have to come out and check on things every now and then you really need to be researching a hell of a lot more better than what you have. I know you don't pay much attention to the construction details unless it's the law and zoning and every little legal issue. But honey you really got to start branching out and learning more. Mybe some more time with the guys will help you more." Ana said as everyone around her look in horror.

"You know Cheng really has the patience of a Saint maybe he can take for some days?" Landen told her when he meant it to be a heartfelt suggestion. "Yeha sure if she wants to be single by this weekend bet you loved that thought wouldn't you Stone." Colton said out of no where with Jordan laughing behind him. "Well Solomon you done. You have made everyone of these crews hit the gym so hard this week I've had to replace the punching bag and make IB Profin and Aleve buy Costco pallets delivered out here. My question is are you doing this on purpose because you don't want to be out here. Or are you really not getting it by now?" Colton asked her sitting on the couch close to her facing her his finger tips barely touch as they hung down to his knees.
