"So how did you meet the other two?" I said, trying to compose myself, from all the laughter from earlier. Mary was also trying to calm down as well. "Well since I work a lot of late shifts I didn't like how Peppermint was alone for a good amount of the time so I thought I would surprise him by getting a few more friends. And let me tell you that experience itself was a little...unique." Mary started to chuckle remembering what had happened. I was waiting at the edge of my seat to hear the story. "Well..."---Mary Flashback start---
Well, it started just like any normal day, I woke up made breakfast for myself, and Peppermint. I got some laundry done, swept and moped the entire place, and he and I went out for a walk while we waited for the floor to dry. As we were walking around we saw a bitty shop, called...Bitty Emporium. Peppermint could use a few more clothing items so we both went in. He and I look around at all the bitty clothing packed and wrapped like doll clothing. After finding a few things, Peppermint saw something and asked me to stop for a moment and head over to a corner nearby. I was confused but I obliged and followed his directions.
There we saw a bunch of terrariums filled with bittys, apparently, that place also deals with bitty adoption as well. We go over and take a look and I see a small ghost and robot trying to decide which type of music would be better to dance to. They weren't arguing, they were just torn between the choices and didn't know what to do. When they saw us they asked us to help them decide which one would be more fun to dance to. The music was played out loud from a cheap Bluetooth speaker. One was an electro dubstep type of song, and the other was a cheerful, upbeat melody.
I looked at both of them and shrugged, not sure what to do since both options were equally great. "Hey, Peppermint. you got any idea which song sounds better?" Peppermint gave a long hmmm, trying to decide. "I...would say the first one. The beat felt...nice." The robot and ghost both looked happy that they finally had a song to dance to. "Darling would you ever be so kind and join us for our dance party!" The small robot said with a bright, hopeful expression. I smiled at them. "Well, how can I say no to that? That sounds like fun! Right Peppermint?" I replied with a warm smile. He nodded. "Yes. That sounds like fun." I smiled. "Perfect! My name is Mary and this is Peppermint! What are both of your names?" They both were taken aback by this. "Well.. sadly darling we have no names of our own, but fret not we are still fabulous and gorgeous!" I see him say with great pride. I looked over to Peppermint he gave them a sad look and then looked over to me and gave me a hopeful look.
"Well then, how about we give you both names? You can't go on being fabulous and gorgeous without proper names, right?" Mary's suggestion was met with an excited nod from the robot bittys. And a shy nod from the ghost. "Hmmmm...what about Wisp and Sirius?" They both looked so happy with their new names, but Sirius looked a little confused. "I understand Wisp's name, but what does my mean?" I smiled. "Well Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, so I thought it would be perfect for you." He looked so happy and proud when I told him that. "Are...are you going to adopt us?" Wisp murmured as he hid behind Sirius. "Oh yes, darling! That sounds fabulous and divine!" I looked over at Peppermint he looked ecstatic. "One moment you two."
I took Peppermint a few steps away from the terrarium. "I take it you like them?" He nodded. "Yes...they make me feel...safe. If...possible could they come with us? I promise to make sure they don't cause problems." I smiled. "Well to be honest I was thinking of getting you some friends, so this works out." He looked at me with a big smile and hugged me. I hugged him back. We both walk over to the terrarium with big smiles. "Soooo...how do you two feel about coming home with us?" Wisp gave a small smile while blushing slightly. Sirius gave a big smile. "Oh YES!" I chuckled and went to get a worker to let them out of the terrarium. I got a bitty starting kit for both bitty types. I also got them a few more bitty-sized things, a few stuffed animals, books, and bitty utensils. I paid for everything and walked out of the store with two more friends, to keep Peppermint company. I smiled as I heard Peppermint talking about his likes and dislikes with his new roommates.

"And that's the story about how I found Wisp and Sirius and brought them home." You looked at Mary very warmly. "That's such a cute story! And talk about timing!" Mary nodded. "You can say that again." You both started to sinker. The bittys noticed how much fun both their humans were having. (Y/N)s' bitty saw how their owner was starting to relax little by little. This made them smile, but they all did feel slightly jealous that they weren't receiving any attention from their owner. Same with Mary bittys, they two were happy their owner had a new friend, but they too were feeling a little jealous. Peppermint saw this and had an idea. "My friends...I have an idea, but it's going to take some time." Boss looked at Peppermint and back at his owner, who was still laughing and ignoring them. "What do you have in mind? And it better be a good plan."
Peppermint, with a sly smile on his face, leaned in closer to Boss and whispered his plan. The other bitties gathered around to hear, their curiosity piqued. Boss listened carefully, and then his expression shifted from skepticism to amusement. He nodded in agreement. "Alright, Peppermint, that sounds like a plan," Boss whispered back. "Let's give it a try." With their secret plan in motion, the bitties began to execute their clever scheme to grab the attention of their respective owners and ensure that they didn't feel left out for long.
