---(Y/N) P.O.V--

  I head to Onxy and Topaz's tank with a nervous smile and a relieved look. "Okay, good news I survived and have all my fingers intact." I say still nervously joking. Onyx gave me a worried expression. "Oh no...di-did s-something happen b-between you and them?" I saw how nervous he was and shook my head. "Nope. I just thought I would make a small joke to lighten the mood, but I just made you worry. Sorry about that. Anyway, I gave them the food and they were happy about it. Sweets was very thankful and appreciative, but I'll admit Slicer was a bit...rough, but it went fine." I say with a polite smile. I saw how he looked relieved. "Th-that's good. I'm happy that you three got along well." I Chuckle "Me too. Maybe the next time I go to the store I can get you four some more snacks? How does something like cherries or blueberries sound or maybe something like grapes?" I saw how they both perked up when I mentioned blubberies. "Heh. I take it that blueberries are something you all like?" Topaz gave me a sly smirk. "Maybe. Depends are they berry good? If so then yes." I chuckle as I see Onxy give Topaz an unamused look. "Sounds good. Next time I go shopping I'll bring a box or two of blueberries."

   I glance at the clock as I hum softly. "I gotta go now, I kinda left my small friends alone at lunch and I get the feeling one of them is gonna give me a hard time. See you guys later." I say with a soft smile as I wave goodbye leaving the room and heading back to the break room. I'm greeted with some warm smiles and some confused looks. "Sorry guys, I had something I had to do." I sat back down and enjoyed the company I had with me.

---Narrator---

You worked throughout the day to keep up with the new work you received, and your current responsibilities. You even helped a few bittys get adopted when some people asked you some questions about bitty care, and how to provide for them. You even got a surprise visit from Keeper when you were checking the water temperature in the side tanks and the main bitty tank was the right temperature. He was checking up on you seeing how you were doing and asked if anything felt off or wrong. You said nothing really felt off other than being nervous around all the people in the shop. You also mentioned that Aoi wanted to apologize to him and that he might want to go see her. Keeper gave you a sigh as he crossed his arms, but nodded. You could tell that he was still a little grumpy with Aoi, you found both cute and funny but kept it to yourself. He disappeared out of your sight as soon as you blinked your eyes, you were slightly taken aback but quickly shook it off as you went back to work.

As your shift ended you felt both tired and yet content with the work you got done today and the bittys you helped find a good home. You put up your uniform in your locker and put on your regular clothes. You grab your purse and other items as you leave the locker room and head to the main area where you see your tiny friends talking with Aoi and Keeper. You could tell that Papyrus was having a lot of fun explaining to Aoi something that happened to him, your best guess was either something cooking-related or talking about a movie he saw. You couldn't exactly tell what Boss, Sans, and Red were talking about with Keeper, but you assumed it was something nice and sweet. You walk over to the group and give them a small wave. "Howdy, howdy, I'm here to pick up some rather fun and lovely bittys. Do you have any suggestions?" You say jokingly looking at Aoi. She chuckles."Hmm. I do have these ones right here, but I dunno the one in the leather jacket is a bit of...what's the word...troublesome." Aoi said playing along with you. You saw how Keeper looked offended. "Hey! If anyone is troublesome it's you! Especially with those stupid hats you carry!" You and Aoi ignore him. "Well if you say so. What about these four right here?" Aoi nodded. "Oh defiantly, these four are perfect for someone like you, though I would be careful they tend to be a lot of fun." You both laughed as you picked up your tiny family slash friends. You wave goodbye to Keeper and Aoi, leaving you to hear Keeper arguing with Aoi as she laughs loudly.

  You drive home with your small friends all of them talking to you about how their day went, how Red and Sans made some terrible jokes that didn't even make sense. Or how Boss had to give a stern talking to a human who thought bitties were pets. You make it home and start to make dinner with Boss and Papyrus, as Sans and Red turn on some TV, you can tell that it's Futurama from the intro. You chuckled knowing how the show has aspects they both like in it. You continued to make dinner with Boss and Papyrus until it was finally ready for eating. Dinner went smoothly and you currently find yourself cleaning up and doing the dishes in the comfy clothes you changed into after dinner. You finished up and noticed the trash can was getting a bit full.

You quickly remove the bag, tie it up, and head for the front door. "(Y/N)! Where do you think you're going?" You turn to see Boss folding his arms while on the couch. "Oh, just taking out the trash. Might as well get it done now, ya know?" Boss gave you a sigh. "I'm going with you." You look rather confused. "You don't have to. It will only take me a few minutes. He was already using the book staircase to get down and off the couch. "I think not, who would let an idiot like you go out alone at night with no protection? Besides I could use some fresh air." Boss was already by your feet and giving you a demanding look. 

  You give in and pick him up as you put on your sandals and go out the door with the trash bag in your hand. As you make your way to the dumpster near the side of your building, you notice how the moonlight hits your building. It's a rather nice sight as you make it to the dumpster and toss out your trash. As you turn around to leave you hear a bottle hit the ground and shatter into pieces. You quickly turn around and put a hand near Boss in a protective manner, you scan the area and try and figure out what happened. You take a few steps back as you grab your phone to turn on the flashlight. "O-Oy! I um...show yourself!" In the corner of your eye, you can see Boss pull out a sharp bone in his hand. You hear some scuttering on the ground. "Who's there!?" You quickly shine the flash to see a bitty. One that you have never seen before. It looked like a hybrid-type skeleton monster with wings. He looked like he was a mixture of a reptile, a bird type of some kind, and one or two more that you aren't entirely sure of.

  You observe him, not moving a muscle or taking a breath, in fear of scaring him off. You see how he's missing a good chunk of his skull, his left leg and arm are both missing. His clothes are torn up and extremely dirty and wet. You stare wondering why he's hurt and if he's okay. You see how he stares at you with his guard up and his wings getting ready to take off. You try and say something anything as you take half of a step, but you can't before he flies off. You see how he sores through the air as he makes his getaway. Something in you forces you to run and try to keep up with him as you do your best to ensure that you or Boss don't fall to the ground. You keep running ignoring the uncomfortable pain you feel as you run in your sandals and everything around you until you see the bitty turn a corner into a dark alleyway. You pause as you catch your breath, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. You hear something muffled as you feel a tiny hand touch your cheek. You could tell Boss was talking to you, but all you could hear was a muffled sound, but you heard no words as you tried to catch your breath. You take a few moments before snapping out of it. "What? S-sorry Boss...what...huff...what did you say? C-Couldn't...huff...hear you..oof...man I really need to get out more...like...really bad." You hear Boss sigh heavily. "Why exactly did you think it was a good idea to follow him?! Especially in sandals!? You could have tripped! And then I would have to hear you whining and sniffling! Idiot!" You could tell that he meant well and that he was concerned for your safety.

 You take one more deep breath before nodding. "I know...and I'm sorry but...something in me just wanted to help...he looked so hurt...so scared like...when I first met you and your brother and Sans and Papyrus. I think...having you guys around and working at the bitty shop really rubbed off on me." You pause for a second. "I want to at least make sure he's okay. I promise I'll be on guard, and I'll be careful...so please Boss?" You hold your breath for a few moments while waiting for Boss to respond. Soon you hear him sighing heavily again. "Fine. But if he tries anything we're getting out of there. I swear sometimes you're far too soft." You breath in relief, you weren't really sure if he would agree to his or not, but you were glad he did. You nod softly. "Thanks Boss." You grab out your phone and put the flashlight on while you step into the dark alleyway.
