2:01 Im currently at work. I got a job on friday here at a little bbq place. Its just me, the employee who's training me, and my friend Zoie. She's being trained as well, so she cant work with me rn. Its her birthday today. I WOULD be off, but she isnt here, so... Fun lol Its pretty easy doing this stuff I guess being in a small texas town does pay off with the amount of people who come in and out. My anxiety isnt as bad as the first day, but im still having trouble with the little ummmm,,, weight thing that you weigh the meat on but i'll get the hang of it. eventually lol
im not sure what time i get off, i think around like... eight?? thats the time we close open from 11AM-8PM. only on weekends though. we are only open on weekends (fri-sun) until we get more help i really like taking orders when theyre easy i just started to chop and cut meat today, and its pretty easy my co worker whos training me is very nice and patient, but her english isnt very well, so i have to ask her to repeat things sometimes, which i worry annoys her, but i figure that since im patient with her she's patient with me
our main area thing here is like a little buffet, but they dont touch the food or anything, but we do its like... behind glass, sorta like how subway is, where you watch them make it
speaking of this area... the sautéed mushrooms look so fucking good im so hungry lol, i choose not to eat the food at home in the mornings cuz if i do, i'll have an upset stomach, and i move around a lot in this job, so i dont need all that 😭😭
works been slow today, which i guess is good AND bad?? im not sure but we got a $5 tip so i guess thats good :))
