Today's been pretty alright :)
We made a few mistakes with orders though. I forgot to charge extra for a side (I ended up paying for it with my own money after the guy left bc I didnt wanna NOT have it paid for, so I paid for it myself.) and then Maricela had an order, which was... A LOT.
Some dude came in and wanted three pounds of turkey, a rack or three of ribs, and a whole ass brisket. Maricela accidentally forgot to charge it correct and the guy got off with paying only $188 but the full thing was supposed to be like $300, so...
BUT ITS FINE! And then I forgot to ring up some guy's soda, but that was fine too lol
I got to go to the gas station a bit ways down the road by myself, which I love going places alone for some reason. I feel so... Responsible. Or like... Independent, in a grown and good way.
I'm glad to know Maricela doesn't dislike me, cuz she sits in a chair in a corner a bit behind the fridge we have in the front between the kitchen and behind the counters, and she told me to pull a chair up. We ate together for a bit :))
She taught me that we can eat for free as long as Flor (our boss) isnt here. Otherwise, we have to pay.
I got a cup of mushrooms and a stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeño :3
I've been getting better with taking orders and making them!! Ive learned how to chop up brisket pretty well!!

Yeah, I think imma be here till we close lol, and we close at 8, so I have like another four hours left. Ive been here for five hours I think. Since 11am? Yeah, like, five hours.

But im also like, really fuckin bothered right now because earlier I was washing dishes and shit and I got this thing stuck in the pad of my fuckin thumb, and i cant get it out
