There comes a day where one life ends and another begins. That day was the day we buried my mom, Lorelai Locksis, the Mafia Queen of the German Mafia. She died while she was trying to defend our house from the Russian Mafia, defending me. My brothers were on a mission of their own at the time, though it was all a trap. My father got home after my mom was shot by the leader of the Russian Mafia, Matthias James. Where was I? Tied up in the closet, gagged by a sock and my body covered in blood from where they cut me and raped me. When my dad saw my mom, it crippled him. He pulled my mother into his arms when Matthias walked away, tears falling as he sobbed loudly into her chest. He had no idea what happened. All he could think about was what he would have to do and what he would tell my aunts and grandparents.
After what seemed like forever, he lay her down and got up to look for me, calling my name. I was on the brink of passing out when he finally opened the closet, pulling my limp body into his arms and trying to bring me back to consciousness. My brothers had gotten home at the time, only to see my mother dead and my father crying over me and treating my wounds. Gray and Natsu left the room so they wouldn't see my naked body, though stayed outside the door so they could speak with my dad. I woke up in my bed a few hours after that, bandaged up and redressed in something clean and warm. My father never left my mother's side, crying and cursing. I don't remember much between then and my mother's funeral, but I don't think I did much either. Something changed within our family - something big - and none of us knew it yet.
What we did know was that we had to carry on with our lives, and I had to take over my mother's position once I turned fifteen.
