《LET'S PLAY》
"For a parent looking for their missing child. Time is a delicate matter"
January 6th, 20-- 6:47PM
Y/N stood infront of the building, clenching onto the strap of her purse. Without hesitation she entered the abandoned building, now in the old entry way. Benches, a desk, an old computer, and the Mural of 'all' the characters. Displayed for anyone to see. Sadly this place has been abandoned for far too long.
Karl, Y/N's son, went missing. Police searched for him, but with no luck of finding him. Every attempt resulted in BanBan's KinderGarten. This old building. Yet, why would he be here? No one knows. Not even Y/N, his own mother knew. For now, no one ever would.
Y/N walked around the entry way, glancing at the unsettling environment. "Jeez, this place is giving me the creeps. No way children enjoyed staying here during the day. Or even if they stayed at night. I'm glad this place isn't open anymore." Y/N said to no one. She was alone.
As a minutes passed. Y/N glanced up at the door, a button displayed above it. "Weird" She thought to herself.
Y/N stepped around the desk, where a small blue keycard could was displayed infront of her. She picked up the keycard, and stepped around the corner to see a mural of a green character, with a speech bubble. Above the bubble said, in green words 'Jumo Josh Says' "Eat vegetables and fruits to become strong, Like me." Y/N read off the wall.
"Oh, so thats it's name. Jumo Josh" Y/N stared up at the Mural "Such a weird name.." Y/N stepped around the corner, now in the old cafeteria. Or what looks like a cafeteria. There were three tables, one green, one red, and one blue, and two vending machines at the back wall. On the right a mural of an orange jelly fish could be seen. 'Stinger Flynn Says' "Having many arms allows me to help a lot more people" Y/N read off once more.
Y/N turned to her left, staring at the vending machine, which was empty. "Seems like there is no point in staying in this area. I saw a blue door. Maybe this keycard goes to it?" Y/N said out lot. Despite being no point in speaking, especially when no one was here to listen. Y/N still did it. Perhaps it felt calmer to hear some sort of voice.
Y/N stepped around the wall again, heading straight for the blue door. She placed the card against the panel. The light switched to green as the door began to open. "Wow, it actually works."
Y/N took one step into the room. It felt unsettling, but at the same time. This entire facility is unsettling. Upon staring at the old stack of cardboard boxes, a controller could be seen. Aswell as a drone, and a crumbeld piece of paper on the corner of a box. Y/N stepped forward again, picking up the controller then glancing at the paper.
She picked it up, and began reading off of it "Dear Mommy, I am hiding in a room, but I have to fight the monster. It is the only chance to make Claire like me."
Y/N's eyes had water fill her vision, creating a small blurr to what she was seeing.
At the end of the note was a frowning face, and a picture of stickman, with the word 'me' pointing towards it. Then a bird, with the title of 'monster' and a small drawing of what could only be assumed was Claire. Karl was bond to be the one who left this.
November 26th, 20-- 7:56PM [PAST TIME]
"Mommy?" Karl mumbled as Y/N placed the book on his bedside table. "Yes, dear?" Y/N answered with her motherly tone "Can I tell you something?" Karl asked, glancing up at Y/N.
"Why of course, you can tell me anything. You are my son no matter what." Y/N responded with a warm smile. "I think I may like someone in my class" Karl responded, twiddling his thumbs "oh, well who is it?"
"Uhm.. Claire." Karl responded, sounding embarrassed. "Aww, Karl." Y/N responded, kissing his forehead. "If she is nice to you. And you love her, then go for it." Y/N said calmly.
She knew that young kindergarten crushes and relationships never last more then a few days, but she wanted her son to be happy. Encouraging him to do what he wants to do, and have a happy heart.
January 6th, 20-- 7:23PM [PRESENT TIME]
Y/N walked out of the room. The paper folded and placed in her purse. She inspected the controller. "It doesn't have batteries. Maybe there are some around here?" She asked herself. She walked back to the cafeteria. On the red table was a battery, and on the blue table another battery. "Weird' Y/N thought to herself 'Could've swore I'd have seen this if this was here the entire time.. am I hallucinating?"
Y/N collected both batteries, inserting them into the controller. Right as she turned the corner again, the drone was on, floating in the air and it drew closer to Y/N, stopping at the door. "Ah, a drone. Nice." Y/N stated sarcastically. Not seeming impressed by the drone.
Y/N played around with the controller, figuring out was to do with this controller.
Y/N then pointed the controller as the buttom, sending the drone flying towards it. Unpon pressing the button, Y/N shifted her gaze to the second button "Why?" She asked, not expecting an answer.
One both buttons haf been presses, the big, yellow, door then opened. Revealing a hallway. A pink bird had it's hanging from the side. Y/N stepped forward as it backed away, disappearing into the darkness.. Y/N stepped across the wooden floor, to her left was a classroom. To her right was a play area. She pressed the keycard against the blue panel, the lights flicking on one by one in the play area. "Oh, interesting." Y/N turned down to face the last two doors down the hallway, then at the two murals of characters on either side. 'Banbaleena says' "Kindness is free, so sprinkle it everywhere"
On the other side however, the mural was more, weird. 'Captain Fiddles Says' "Ooga Booga.. Ooga.. booga?" Y/N read in a questioning tone. "I mean it makes sense with children."
Y/N then tuned away again, now entering the play area. She stepped up towards the bird.. it felt very unsettling. "Wait, isn't this that bird from a few minutes ago?" Y/N thought to herself.
