Chapter 3: whats this feeling

once she heard everyone fall asleep she got up and went to the kitchen. She knew that having a warm cup of tea could set her mind straight.

As she was making the tea she told herself that maybe this was like a 1 or 2 day kind of feeling since it had been long since she saw him last and Well she didn't realise he would've been gone this long and kinda felt bad for not hugging him when he left. She told herself that, that was the reason that she's feeling this way towards him and things will go back to the way they were before In no time so there's no need to worry.

Or maybe.... She thought something she never really wanted to dive into. Maybe I like-, no lol I don't even know why would I think that she said making herself laugh that's so dumb.

"Hana" she heard a sleepy voice coming from the corridor which made her jump,  goosebumps appeared all over her body seeing that it was mun and not even a second ago was she thinking about him

"Oh hey mun what are you doing up" she replyed to him acting like it was totally normal to be up at 3 am

"I felt thirsty, I went to grab my water bottle that was near my bed but jeok bong had made it his hostage" mun said now a bit more awake than before

Hana couldn't help but laugh at what he had just said

"We'll I'm making some tea, do you want some" she offered him still trying to play it cool

"Um sure why not" mun said walking towards the counter and sitting down on the stool

He watched as hana struggled to reach the tea which made him want to help her 

"Wait let me help you" he said getting up from his seat, before Hana could reply he had already gotten the tea that she tried so hard to get.

She didn't realise it before but mun had got more muscular I mean not durastically but you could tell.

Mun felt hanas eyes on him and couldn't help but laugh,

"Are you done looking miss do" he says still laughing

Hana looked up at him her face going bright red again this was the 2 time she had blushed she didn't know what was wrong with her. She laughed awkwardly and distanced herself  from him knowing how close they were.

"You've been working out I see" she tried to change the subject

"Yeah I mean working with different counters every month made me feel like I was working out non stop" mun replied smiling knowing she wanted to change the subject

Instead to going back to his seat he decided to stay standing and help hana in case she needed it cause he knew she won't ask him but instead let herself struggle like before. 

"Wow it must've been fun, you must've met so many pretty girls there" hana said but then pausing after realising what she had just said to him

Mun broke out into laughter again,

"I went for 6 months and all you have to ask me is if I met any pretty girls" he said still laughing

Hana was too embarrassed to turn around but she still wanted to know the answer. Mun stops laughing and finished his sentence

"For your information, no I didn't I met one girl but she was wigens daughter, I still think your the prettiest girl I've ever  met" he says looking at hana but her back was turned to him

Hana was shocked I mean mun did this all the time you know the flirty I think you're pretty here and there or you look nice but this was different the way he said it.

It made her feel some type of way a way she never felt before and even if she did this time it was different, she knew she couldn't turn around cause if she did she wouldn't know what she would've done.

So she just said "thanks your not too bad yourself"

Mun looked at her a bit upset knowing she brushed off his compliment but it didn't hurt him that much anymore cause she always did this acted like he was just jokingly saying things like that to her like a best friend would.

Mun snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the hot water splash on to hanas hand making her hiss

Mun By impulse grabbed her hand making her face him he looked at her hand to make sure it was ok before meeting her eyes.

He didn't notice it before but he realised that when hana looked at him there was a sense of longing like she wants to be with him like she's about to give in but just doesnt want to take the leap cause she has no faith, that it might actually turn out right, she's too scared.

"Are you ok" mun says keeping the eye contact with her not wanting to break it

"Yeah it just stings a little" she says looking down not being able to maintain the eye contact eyes like mun did with her

Mun quickly turned on the cold water and put her hand under it. The kitchen was so quiet you could hear a pin drop so mun decided to break the silence.

"You know I meant that right" he says not looking at hana in case she realises how much he actually likes her

"Meant What" hana  says trynig to play dumb eventhough she knows what he's talking about 

"I meant it when I said you're the prettiest girl I've ever met" mun says this time a with more serious tone locking their eyes

Hana didn't know how to react she could see it in his eyes how much she meant to him and she wanted to tell him how much he meant to her, just as she was about to reply jeokbong came barging into the kitchen making the tension between them perish.

Hana quickly took her hand out of muns after realising that mun was still holding it , she didn't want to give jeok bong the wrong idea about all of this . 

Mun just looked at her with a disappointing look he knew it was hard for her to express her emotions but so was it for him but only towards her.
