We took a short-cut to the club

We took a short-cut to the club. The road that we took was deserted, not even a single person took that road except for us. It would become very scary if you travel alone, but as we were not alone so it was definitely not haunting but very fun.

Each of us played our favourite song one by one. No one knows how much we fought over who will play the song first.

Aahan and Parth were racing and we were just cheering them. It was really fun but at some point incomplete too. I wanted our whole group to go together but Ivaan and Rohaan had to ruin it.

Soon we reached the club. We got out of the cars and walked towards the entrance. Parth, Asmee, Roop and Rishika were already inside the club. Aahan and I were walking slowly. I thought we would talk but he was on his phone.

Just five steps before entering the club but I stopped. Aahan turned around and looked at me with confusion.

"What's wrong?" Aahan asked, with confusion.

"I think I should not go inside" I replied, which confused him even more.

"Why? As far as I can remember, you were the most excited one after hearing the word 'club'. " He chuckled softly.

"Yeah but look at my outfit" I said, looking at my suit.

He looked at my suit then looked at me again and said with a soft smile, "It's beautiful".

I looked at him with my disappointed look. He understood that's not what I meant so he asked in concern, "Oh wait- Is your suit uncomfortable?".

I stopped troubling him with guessing what I wanted to say, "No, I can't wear this inside the club".

"Why not?" He asked, confusingly.

"Because... because it's traditional, and in club we wear western, right?" I said, fidgeting with the dupatta.

"It's not a rule that you can't wear traditional inside a club and I think traditional is way better than western so don't worry" He said, cheering me up.

"But what will people think?" I interrupted.

"Since when did our Ridhima starts caring about what will people think?" He said, with a smirk.

"Are you saying that I'm heartless?" I said, with my childish type angry face.

"Oh no no.." he acted like he got scared of my anger.

"I mean, I remember a Ridhima who didn't really cared what people thought about what she would wear even if she was only 6 but she wore what she loved and I personally loved her confidence" He said, putting his phone in his pocket.

"And I want you to become like that Ridhima and trust me, you look way more beautiful than those girls who wear western just to earn attention. And by that, I don't mean that every girl wear western to earn attention. I'm referring to some specific girls. Understand?" He said, pulling one of my cheeks with his warm smile. I eventually got a smile on my face.
