Bad Match, Perfect couple

Chapter Five

    Keefe had started packing for their trip to the forbidden cities. He put on his Batman shirt from the last time they had been to the forbidden cities, to join the Black Swan. It had been ages but it still felt like it was just yesterday. Foster had asked all of them to meet up before going to their new names, aliases, new lives, and probably their deaths. Well at least he was with Sophie. He walked over to the Pancakes with a small duffle bag on his shoulder, Sophie had one similar, next to her as she sat  with her back against the tree and her head in her lap. He walked over to her and put his arm around her shoulder and she looked up at him "I know I shouldn't be so sad but... I just feel like this could be the last-" her voice broke off into a gentle sob. He scooted closer and she cried into his shoulder as he whispered sweet words. 

     Then the others started to arrive the first was Dex so she got up and washed her face before all the others arrived. Dex asked if she was okay. He just shrugged in response, and Dex looked extremely concerned. Sophie came back looking as lovely as ever, wearing a dark red lacy tunic, black cape, leggings, and boots. She smiled at him and it warmed his heart. They sat down together, waiting for the others to arrive. Once they all came, Sophie stood up and started her speech,mostly about how amazing we all are, and how we needed to put our all in or we'd never succeed. We all didn't really know what to say after such a good speech in a comfortable silence. 

     Mr. Forkle showed up and gave us all our exlirs and official human documents. We all got ready to split up and depart for our separate missions. We all looked at each other, gave a confident smile then raised our crystals and let the light carry us to our destination.
