"So, how much longer?". . .
"Half an hour, miss."
001 ― SETTING SAILS
THE WEATHER was nice. Sunny, not many clouds out there; you could get a pretty clear view of where you were going. You did have to admit, the road to Fontaine was quite enjoyable.
The waters were clear and cool to the touch. Fish could be seen swimming about in a hurry without much trouble, and the sea's cool breeze was a welcome change from Sumeru's arid deserts and dense forests.
You shifted in your seat, right leg crossing over the other as you reached for your satchel. Upon opening it, you reached inside it, carefully bringing out a faintly flickering vision.
Setting it in your hands, you looked at it. You had to find its owner someway. Keeping it with you forever didn't sit well with you.
After all, it's not like it resonated with you. You had your own vision, and you doubted anyone could truly be a double-vision wielder. Sure, you hear stories, but, they sound like tall tales most of the time, and you don't have much spare time to idle and listen to children's fairy tales.
"Almost there, miss," you heard the conductor call, to which you nodded, smiling. You put away the vision back inside, deciding to not pay it mind until you reached the Nation of Justice.
There would be no use fumbling and worrying about something that couldn't be fixed just yet. And besides, might as well enjoy the trip, no?
