CAROLINE'S P.O.V
" Not being in a relationship does not mean that we are boring" Stated Veronica proudly.
My best friend, Veronica Flores had stunning blue eyes contrast to my hazel brown eyes and the same wavy brown hair as mine that reached her mid-back.
But she had a little stripe of blond in her hair whereas I had blue stripe. She was just a bit tall than me as she being 5'6 and me being 5'5. We have been best friends since kindergarten.
Brayon gave Veronica a pointed look and was going to say something when I interjected,"Yeah, Roni is right. And-"
"Hey, Don't call me Roni!!! You know I hate that nickname." She screamed. We know very well that Roni hates this nickname but its just too fun to tease her.
"We both know that you hate it that's why we call you Roni and coming back to the topic" he said keeping his both arms around Veronica's and my shoulder " I think you two are gay and are in a secret gay relationship."
He earned two smacks from us for telling us gay.
"Ouch that hurts." He winced. I rolled my eyes. What a drama queen! We did not even hit him that hard.
Brayon Austin, our teacher and friend too. He is 23 years old boy with grey eyes, black hair and a cute dimple on his left cheek which makes him more gorgeous than he is. It is kind of strange that our teacher is our friend but he is brother of our another best friend Kiara Austin. So we are pretty close.
"Hey guys!" A familiar voice greeted us. We looked towards the owner of the voice. It was Ethen.
The other member of our small group. He is good looking with his dirty blond hair and green eyes. It's basically me, Veronica, Ethen, Brayon and Kiara in our group. We are really really close.
We smiled at him and gave our greetings.
"Why are you girls going all violence on him, huh?" He asked chuckling. "What did Brayon say this time?"
"Brayon said that we two girls are gay and are in a secret gay relationship. We are not against gay people, they are unique and kind but-"
"We are not gay." I finished Roni oops Veronica's sentence.
Ethen snaked his hands around Ro-Veronica's waist and pulled her closer, looked her into the eyes and said,"I hope you're not gay."
These two just stared at each other. I am damn sure Ethen's got a crush on Veronica but Veronica says otherwise. She says that he's got a crush on me.
When Brayon cleared his throat they broke their eye contact and stood there awkwardly staring at the ceiling.
"Look kids-"Brayon started. Ethen snorted when Brayon called us "kids" but Brayon choose to ignore it.
"- I am going, got some work to do and you two" he said pointing towards Veronica and me " I hope you call me at your wedding."
"Shut up Brayon." I said sternly. I was really loosing my patience. "For the last time, WE ARE NOT GAY!!" Some people gave me weird glances but said nothing. Ugh all because of this stupid Brayon.
"Oh really? Prove it." He said challenging us.
"We will." I replied in a proud tone. "Just wait and watch."
"I will." With that he left us. We were currently at the hall of our school, Paradise High.
Paradise High just as its name is really a paradise. It's a musical school only for the "rich kids". Only the richest of the rich study here. We also being kids of the one of the richest people in the country study here. It's also called heaven out here and they are true. Our school is pretty large, sometimes people get lost here. One or two times even I too got lost here. It's really cool to be here. Only one boring thing is we have uniform but its fine for me. We also have practice room here instead of classroom. In one practice room only 2-6 people can practice and we can choose our friends.
"Hey girls, you coming for the PARTY tonight!!!!" Ethen questioned with a wide grin on his face. He really loves parties.
"Yup" I replied popping the "p". "And you are our ride."
"I know but I don't want to be a third wheel between you two gay girls." Ethen teased.
"Enough, Ethen!!!" Veronica glared at him.
He raised his hands defensively and said"Sorry just kidding. Its just that I love teasing you guys."
"And we love chocking you to death." We said in unison and cupped our hands on his neck tightly.
"Oh g-god S-s-o.....ryyy, ple...ee...se." He stuttered.
"Didn't think that after these years we would see you dying out here Austin." Said a deep voice and we there snapped our heads to the owner of the voice.
There were actually two of them and both of them had smirks on their faces. Both of the boys look of our age. Both of them were strangers to me and looking at Veronica's expression she was as clueless as me.
"Long time no see, Austin" Said the guy with blue eyes and blond hair.
I looked at Ethen and was shocked to see him speechless. Ethen is never speechless. He always has something to say. But now he has nothing to say. Who are these boys?
"Why....I-I me-ean whe-en did y-you guys re-retu-turned?" Ethen asked nervously. Why is he nervous?
"Just today and we will be at this school till graduation. Isn't that great Austin" said the guy with the brown eyes as well as brown hair.
"Yeah".But he did not sound happy.
"Great we are going. I hope we see you around." The blond one spoke. They took one last glance at us and left. I think I heard Ethen say 'I hope not' but may I am being paranoid.
"Who were they?" Veronica and I asked at the same time folding our hands on our chest.
"Um...they....just....uh..." We raised our eyebrows not satisfied with his answer and he continued,"just some....some old..........friends." And before we could ask anything he left the hall. Strange.
"That was strange." Veronica said as we walked towards our practice room.
"I know right. Who were they and why is he so nervous in front of them?" I asked as Veronica pressed the password and opened the door. Only the room owner and the school authority knows the password of every practice room and no one else. And as I, Veronica and Ethan are the room owners only the three of us know the password.
"Whoever they were they must be -Aaaahhhh what are you boys doing here?" The two boys are practically in our practice room and to be more specific they were sitting on our couch.
"Talking about us are we?" The brown eyed guy asked.
"No! Now answer the questions what are you doing here and how did you get here?"
"I think the right question is 'why', don't you think?" Said the boy with the blue eyes as they got up from 'our' couch.
"And the answer to the 'right question' is to introduce our self as you may need it soon." The brown haired one smugly answered. "I am Daren Dornan."
"And I am Caleb Denver." Blondie introduced himself.
"As we care." Veronica fired back.
"Oh you will." This Darren guy stated confidently with a smirk at his face.
"See you girls around." The Caleb guy gave us two finger salute and they left the practice room.
"Who the hell were they? What the hell were they doing in OUR practice room and mainly HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET IN HERE?" Veronica screamed at the top of her lungs.
"I wish I knew the answers, Veronica." I sighed and slumped on the couch.
