Veronica's P.O.V
"You're not comin' to the Party?!" Caro half screamed at Ethen.
"No, Sorry. I'm not feeling well." Ethen's voice muffled by the pillow.
We-I and Caro are in Ethen's home, in his room. We are all dressed up and ready to go to the party when Ethen drops the bomb by telling us that he's not going to the party cause "he is not feeling well". Not feeling well my ass. I'm sure he's faking it. But why?
"Oh come on Ethen, you never said no for any party. And you were fine this morning." I whined and banged my feet on the floor but Ethen doesn't even buzz.
"Yeah but I got ill now. And you can go without me, can't you?" He is still not facing us and his face still at the pillow.
"No we won't go without you." Caro argued.
"Yeah if you go we'll go , if you don't go we won't go." I supported Caro. "Hey that rhymed." My words filled with enthusiasm. This time Caro and Ethen both faced me giving the 'what the hell look.'
"What?" I asked, shrugging. No one spoke for a while then I broke the silence by telling "Okay then we won't go. But remember this that it took us whole 2 hours to get ready and you spoiled it." I thought of playing the guilty card.
"Yeah let's go Veronica. What can we do if he doesn't understand?" Caro played along with me.
Ethen grumbled something but I couldn't catch. I caught Caro's eye and the countdown started in my head. Is he falling for our trap? He should be saying yes any moment now..
Caro and I turned around and started walking towards the door. One step..Two step..Three step...He should have fallen by now! C'mon Ethen!!
"What should I wear girls?"
Finally! I sighed and turned around with a grin on my face.
"Anything you want Ethen. Anything." Caro said giving me a high five.
Yay! Our trick always works!

When we reached the school the party had already started. The students and teachers are scattered all over the place, with champagne in their hands. All of them enjoying the party. The whole school is decorated with balloons and other decorations. It was looking absolutely amazing. After all it is Paradise High, it will always blow people's mind away.
"Wow" was all I could say when I saw the school.
When we entered we were greeted by Brayon's tight hug. So tight that we couldn't breathe. We gasped for air when he let us go.
"I will get you girls some drinks", Ethen offered.
"I am coming with you", said Brayon and they got out of our view.
Just as they left a new voice greeted us ,"Good evening, ladies".When we turned around to see the owner of the voice, we saw Daren and Caleb.
What are they doing here?
When we did not speak anything as we felt it was not necessary, Caleb said,"Would you mind-" but he was stopped by Brayon.
"You two! What are you doing here?" I was surprised to see Brayon this angry. He is usually calm and happy person. Who are these boys? Everyone is changed around them.
"C'mon Brayon. It's a school party and we are the students of this school." Daren said smirking. What is he smirking for?
Brayon did not reply but just glared at them. Now why is he glaring at them? What on earth is going on?
"We will be going for now see you guys around."Caleb broke the awkward silence and took the drinks from Ethen's hand. He took one glass and gave another to Daren and they left. These boys always do this, they just pop out of now where and vanish like that!
