Chapter 2

As we pulled up the school i took a deep breath and told myself that i'm going to be just fine. My aunt parked in her personal parking space turned off the car turned to me and said "alright sweetie ready for the first day of high school? I look at her and said "yes i am but i am a tad nervous what if no one likes me? what if someone bullies me?" my aunt looked at me with sympathic look and told me to calm down take a deep breath and focus on the positive side.

My aunt got out of the drivers seat to come to my door to unbuckle me and take me out to walk into the office. As we we walked inside the front desk lady looked up and saw me holding my aunt's hand cooed at the sight " awww who's this little cutie? my aunt respond " this is my nephew say hello Jackson!' I waved hello to her not saying anything " don't take it personal he's just shy around new people and don't let his size fool you he's actually 15 he has youth lock symdrome" the dresk lady looked shocked but just nod her head and said "well he's adorable good luck with high school sweetie you'll be seeing me around alot" i smiled and said thank you.

"okay jackson lets get you your schedule and get you setttled in." i followed her into her office and see she has lots of inspiration posters. "geez auntie thats alot of posters you got " she just laughed and sat down at her desk and turned her computer on. " alright jackson let me just pull up your schedule and print it out for you!" i sat down on the couch she has and said okay. i pulled out my phone and played some angry birds i know lame but its addictive and passes the time despite being 2023 i love that game. 

About 10 mins went by my aunt finally prints out my class schedule and gives it to me i took it and saw what i have looks like i'm doing scince for first period second period math yuck third period arts yes fourth period P.E  fifth period music score again and 6th period social studies. "alright jackson hope those are okay with you?" Yes auntie they are thanks again" i gave her a hug and smiled " you're very welcome here's your locker number and combination now go put your stuff in your locker and hang out in the library until school starts" i nodded and took off making my way to my locker skipping happily i wasnt paying much attetion until i bumped into someting causing me to fall on my tushy. then i heard " sorry about that little man here let me help you up" i looked up to see a very tall guy he was very muscular and had dark brown hair i was speechless but shook my head out of my thoughts and took his hand. "thanks sorry about that guess i was paying much attention' he helped me up and just laughed a lil."its alright no harm done now why is a little kid like you doing at a high unsurpervised where's your mommy and daddy they must be worry sick!" i look at him pouting and said "if you must know i'm a student i'm 15 thank you very much and i don't have parents anymore they passed away when i was young." he looked at me all confused and staring at me like i'm pulling his legs or something

"really you sure cause i'm seeing a 7 yr old and i'm sorry for you loss didn't mean to make you upset. i said "it's okay and yes i'm sure believe it or not i have youth lock symdrome a conditon that makes a person stop growing at a certain age like myself i stopped growing at the age you're looking at now." i dusted off the dirt off my pants and butt."well my name is mark mclaughin what's your?" i told him "it's jackson. jackson mckenzie and today is my first day today i've been homeschooled for awhile and my aunt said i needed to start high school since i'm starting late i'm being held back so technically i'm a freshman" i shook his hands and then he ask " where were you heading to anyways? i said my locker then he offered to take me there i couldn't say no he seemed like a nice guy so i took his offer.
