They Meet...
••

Yuna Ashida was sitting at a table in her favorite coffee shop. A hot cup of coffee was settled in the curve of her hand, and she only stared down at it as she continued to listen to her friend attempting to convince her of something.

"Come on, Yuna!" Nobara Kugisaki pleaded. "Just this once!"

"You say that every time-"

"And you say no every time!" The ginger haired girl retorted. "Seriously, when is the last time we went to a party?"

To be fair, Nobara certainly wasn't wrong.

Now that Yuna thought about it, she shuttered as she remembered that ridiculous house party they went to around two years ago. Or maybe it was three...

And it seemed as though the same memories were running through each of their minds as Nobara suddenly grimaced. "Okay, bad example-"

"Are you talking about this stupid party again?" A soft voice questioned from over Yuna's shoulder.

And then, a fresh coffee was placed in front of her before the person sat down in the seat just beside her.

"I haven't even finished this coffee, Megumi." Yuna chuckled as she tapped the paper cup that was still in her hand.

"You'll need a lot of energy if we're going to this party, though." Megumi mumbled in a bored tone, his blue eyes already trained on his own iced coffee.

"Wait... you wanna go, too?"

The boy shrugged, rolling his eyes when Nobara snapped her fingers in excitement.

"It's been a while." Megumi suggested. "It doesn't hurt to go for a little bit, if it sucks we can just leave."

Yuna's mouth opened slightly in shock.

These three had been friends for a long time, and this was the first time that she could ever recall Megumi Fushiguro actually wanting to go to a party. She would admit, it was almost enough to have her convinced.

He was right anyways, if it was awful then they could just leave.

"Alright." Yuna finally shrugged with a sigh. She didn't watch as Nobara began to excitedly clap, instead she looked toward the dark haired boy beside her. And he was already looking her way with a raised brow.

Yuna smiled brightly, "Who knows, it might be really fun." She added. And surprisingly, Megumi gave a small smile in return.
