How the night ended between Klay & Naomi
Klay pulled away from hugging Naomi. He looked her in her eyes and softly grabbed the right side of her face.
He pitched her cheek softly, "What's on your mind? What pushed you so far to make that decision?"
Naomi locked her eyes with his, and put her head down. She took a step back and looked out over the bridge and at the river.
"You ever felt so tired you wanna give up? Or have you felt so drained to the point where that morning ["thank you"] prayer turns into ["God why would you wake me up again?"] or have you ever had someone treat you as if you were a punching bag? whenever they were fighting demons, they come and beat you until they feel better? You ever felt so alone? Even when you got thousands of people that look up to you, and people who love you around."
