~~Chapter 28~~

"The initials "GGY" are number one in a lot of these."

"Hear a giggle? It echoed, and sounded like a little girl's."

"Maybe... What if we get rid of the glitch?"

"Guess it's worth a shot..."

Narrator's POV

With that, the two children make their way back to their house. Gregory uses the security badges he has to get out using the exit of the loading docks, and they walk along the dark and silent streets of town, back to their place. Y/N uses her key to get inside, and they slip in quietly, considering how it's now dark. The house is quiet, and everything is still. The only source of light is the dim rays coming through the windows from the street lights outside.

Gregory and Y/N both take off their shoes and their jackets. After hanging hers up, Y/N looks at her boyfriend. "Should we ask her in the morning?" She whispers quietly, not wanting to risk waking anyone up, or interrupting their charging. Gregory nods, and leans in to kiss her cheek. "Night Y/N."

"Goodnight, love you." She replies. He repeats it, then walks to his room and gently closes the door so it only makes a small sound as it closes. She soon follows suit and goes to her room, getting under the blankets, not bothering to put any night clothes on for now, as it was around one in the morning. She closes her eyes and rolls into a comfortable sleeping position.

----------------------

"Wake up, sleepyhead!"

Y/N groans as her blanket is pulled off of her curled up body, feeling her skin now being exposed to the cold air that was originally under the blanket. She tries to grab it again, but Gregory threw it onto the ground, then started to poke her face just to annoy her. After a few moments of waking up, she slaps his hand away and sits up to rub her eyes. "That's not a nice way to wake someone up, that's for sure."

"Yeahh, but, see, I tried shaking you awake, and that didn't work." He hums. "Then, I tried to tell you to get up nicely, and I tried blaring something loud, and turned the light on. Those didn't work, either. So I had to resort to the last method, that always works." The brunette shrugs his shoulders, then goes to the door. "Anyways, put some new clothes on. We have some convincing to do here."

Y/N sighs quietly and looks around her room once Gregory leaves, and lays back down, staring at the ceiling. Normally, she'd fall back asleep, but she decided not to. Instead after a few moments of thinking about other things, she rolls herself up, and throws on some new clothes, putting her other pieces of clothing into a bag she keeps her dirty clothes in.

She comes out of her room to see Freddy making eggs in the kitchen. He's facing the stove, so she can't really see his face, but he sees how Vanessa and Gregory are eating their eggs. "Sorry Y/N," Freddy apologizes. "You were the last to get up, so I wanted to make you your eggs so they could stay warm."

"It's okay Freddy." Y/n nods her head and yawns, stretching out her arms. "Good morning guys." "Morning," Vanessa and Gregory reply in unison. "How'd you sleep?" Vanessa asks. "Any luck?" Y/n watches Freddy grab her eggs that are now sat on a plate, and he pours her a glass of F/D juice to go with it.

"Yeah, I had a good sleep." Y/n replies after taking a sip from the cup, giving a thanks to the robotic bear. She had a weird dream about Gregory, but she wasn't going to say anything about it. Dreaming of him is weird enough, but that dream was definitely weird...

Y/n looked around the room. It was her bedroom, and the fairy lights (I love these sm sorry if you don't, but they're so adorable--) were the only source of light. She moves to the door and opens it, then into Gregory's room to see if he was there. She looks around for him, but can't find him at all. She then turns around, then spots him standing in the doorway, but his back was turned toward her.

Y/n raises her eyebrow, and walks toward him. "Hey Greg? You okay sweetheart?" She asks, reaching out to tap his shoulder. However, hand hand passes through it, and there was a tingly-like sensation in her finger tips. She visibly sees how  the area seemed to glitch out before appearing again. He turns his head, but all she could see was a wide grin on his face, the rest of his features were a blur.

"Hello, Y/n." He says, that Cheshire-like grin not fading from his face as he turns fully around. "How are you doing?" He tilts his head, then shakes it. "No matter, how about you follow me, hm..?"  He puts his finger to his lips. "But you can't tell anyone about what you'll see, okay?"

She shakes her head, then starts eating her egg with some toast Freddy made during that flashback. (because I said so. >:() Y/n then notices how Gregory's looking at her, and she raises an eyebrow. "Yeah? You okay Greg?" The girl asks, seeming to snap Gregory out of his thoughts. He nods. "Yeah, but..." He sighs, and turns to look at Vanessa. "We have a question... So, last night, we were searching for the arcades, similar to PQ, but found nothing. And I thought, you know, what if we got rid of the glitch in everything? Like the animatronics, and the Pizzaplex as a whole? At least that would double it down, and then we'd get even more help from the animatronics, right?"

Vanessa takes a sip of her coffee that was sitting beside her on the table, then sets it back down. "No."

"What? Why?" Both the kids ask.

Vanessa sighs. "If you're asking what I think your asking, that could possibly set the glitch even more free. If I do hack into the system to get rid of the virus, even if I mean to do it to rid of said virus, then it could damage the system even more. One wrong move could set it up so it wouldn't be fixable. The one who originally hacked it put it in there pretty deep, too, so it won't be easy."

"But Vanessa!" Gregory presses, "we need to do this. Victoria, or whatever her name was, is still out there. She'll hurt more kids, well, I bet so anyways, and just keep this whole thing going! Please, Ness?" He puts his hands together, looking at her with the best puppy dog eyes he could muster.

"Please? We can't do it ourselves." Y/n adds on, "we'd be forever grateful for not only putting a roof over our heads, but also helping us out with this one mission we really, really, want to finish. Please, please, please, pleaseeee??" She claps her hands together herself, so now both teenagers were staring at the woman with big sad eyes.

Vanessa watches them both, and watches as they both continue to stare at her. She glances at Freddy, then sighs. "Okay, fine. I'll help. But it'll be risky."

They both nod and get up. "Yaayyyy!! Thanks Vanessa!" They both cheer, then high five each other. This'll go great... I think...

Yippeee!! Another chapter! And it's a longer one. Yayyy!! Sorry that other one was so short-- I'm working on it and have decided which way I've decided to go. I think I've thrown in some hints at it, but I'm not revealing anything else from what I have. Anyways, stay tuned! We're about to go into a different arch teehee- (I didn't know I was doing arcs....)

Things will get better next chapter, I swear 😭💀
